I will be selling exclusively on Amazon.

Until now, for books where I stopped renewing the KDP Select (Amazon exclusive) period, I had been gradually selling the e-books on "BOOK☆WALKER" and "Rakuten" as well, but
this time, I will temporarily return all books to "Amazon-only sales".

I have just submitted a request to stop sales on "BOOK☆WALKER" and "Rakuten".
I expect sales to be stopped within the day.

After confirming that sales have been stopped, I will return them to KDP Select (Amazon exclusive).

Reason

Why return to Amazon only after posting so many articles saying "I have also released them on BOOK☆WALKER and Rakuten"?

In a word, it is because I do not have the "time to manage them".

・Product description fields
The character limits and expression rules differ for all three companies.
Also, it takes effort to update all three companies even for minor changes.

・Updating covers, book content, and prices
This also takes effort to update for all three companies.
Moreover, the rules are not necessarily the same for all three.

・The number of books is large
I had released the 12 books that were no longer in KDP Select on the two companies.
The number of my books themselves well exceeds 20.
Managing these across three companies takes time.

I think it is fine for those who have the "time to manage them," but in my case, I have many other things to do, and after
carefully considering the priority of my time, I decided to go with Amazon only.

To avoid misunderstanding, I will say that BOOK☆WALKER and Rakuten are both companies with easy-to-use systems and provided kind support.
To repeat, it is because I do not have the "time to manage them," and I have no complaints about the two companies.

From now on

For a while, it will be "Amazon-only sales."
If I find the time to manage them, I might resume distribution on "BOOK☆WALKER" and "Rakuten."
At that time, I look forward to your continued support.

Although it was only for about a month, distribution on "BOOK☆WALKER" and "Rakuten" was a meaningful and valuable experience.
