A story about realizing my "range" is wide, with "scent" as the theme
I've been keeping up with note for a while now, and
although my streak did break once just before 500 days
(I was drawing and ended up crossing into the next day, haha)
it's still been going since then, so I guess this is 95 days in a row?
Well, about 600 days total.
That's a rough estimate. I'm pretty casual about it.
After keeping at it this long, I've reached the point where even with the same theme,
I've become able to write from various angles—or so I think, anyway.
As was featured in "'What Are You Talking About Department' Newsletter, The 47th Letter of Encounter,"
it seems I have a wide "range."
No, the content written here isn't abouttrying to convey how wide it is!
That's not it; today, I realized that even though it should be the same theme if I think about it carefully,
I felt that "range" for myself,
so I'm going to write about it a little.
That theme is exactly
"Scent"
◆ The scent of rose
When people want to refresh their mood, something quite effective isthe sense of smell.
I have a favorite toner.
It's not a chemical fragrance, but a real, faint rose scent.
When I'm wrapped in this scent, I feel relieved.
It might only be about a minute of my day, the time I spend applying toner.
But it's definitely a fragrant scent for me
that allows me to reset my feelings.
Everyone, please find a scent that makes you feel comfortable too!
If you have one, just catching a whiff of it
makes me feel like my mood becomes a little more positive 😊

◆ The scent of rosemary
Also, I love this scent too!
There are rosemary bushes at my company.
When I finish work and head to the parking lot thinking "I'm so tired..."
I gently brush my hand over the rosemary in the planting.
And then I smell it.
This has become my routine after work.
I gently touch it with my hands and enjoy the lingering scent.
I don't do anything barbaric like tearing off the rosemary.
I let the scent coat my palms.
Ah... what a lovely scent...
This is also a good way to reset my mood.
Though, before I smell the scent, I'm just a strange middle-aged woman touching the plants.

◆ The ultimate parakeet scent
While I was working, I just felt so exhausted.
Then, suddenly, in my head,
an urge to smell my cockatiel spread through me!
You know about parakeets, right?
Some people are so captivated by them that perfume smelling like parakeets has even been made.
I don't really need parakeet-scented perfume, but
especially when I'm mentally and physically exhausted, I want to sniff my little one.
Do you understand?...
You probably don't...
Also, even though I call it a cockatiel, it's actually a parrot.
Well, that's fine, 'parakeet scent'.

It's a good thing to find scents you like.
Today, I shared three scents that reset my frayed nerves.
What do you think?
Quite a 'range,' isn't it!?
If you're interested, please give it a try.
It's good to find something you like, especially in a relationship where you can smell it easily.
