18. The Energy of Words
note has become a
truly, truly
important place for me.
Of course, the very act of learning in order to write an article is one thing, but
the fact that I can "carefully look back on my own words and actions,"
"organize my own thoughts,"
and
"be exposed to the words of many different people"
is,
as a side effect, helping me grow myselfI think.
************************************
Just the other day,
I encountered some "words" so important that they left me deeply shocked.
They were
a reply from Ruru-san to me
after I commented on her article.
In this article of hers,
Ruru-san explores the meaning behind posting on note.
Ruru-san
categorizes writing as output, but
she focused on how writing can lead to answers,
or how things you never expected
can be input.
And she says that when you wait for words to come out,
they pour down like a shower,
washing you clean.
(I am summarizing roughly here.
Please do read Ruru-san's original text.)
And...
Writing is a flow. A flow of sound. A flow of characters. A flow of the heart. A flow of thoughts.
Even if you don't write in a way that waits for words to pour down from the outside like I do, the output itself is a flow of words.
It is like a single river overflowing and flowing from your own thoughts and heart.
Just by visualizing that flow, your body surprisingly feels lighter.
note is a vast, vast ocean of prose.
Words are always flowing,
and furthermore, they are pouring down as rain.
By surrendering myself to that flow of words,
the clutter inside me
is washed away cleanly...
Whenever I read
Ruru-san's articles,
I have always felt a comfort,
as if the murky attachments and grudges
nesting inside me
were being washed away.
I felt like that mystery had been solved,
so I told Ruru-san about it.
Then...
I believe that attachments and grudges are also important energy.
They are troublesome if you let them clump together and stagnate, but if you melt them little by little and change them from solid to liquid to gas... the attachments and grudges that were once clumps increase in volume and become a vast source of energy, don't they!
May you have days where you can say, "I'm glad I had those attachments. I'm glad I had those grudges."
I believe that you, Kaora-san, are living in that very moment right now.
Please continue to cherish the irreplaceable experiences you have with your children!
Oh my goodness...
Attachments and grudges are important energyis what
Ruru-san said.
After my own mental breakdown,
as I worked on rebuilding myself,
I tried to let go of my grudges and attachments.
In fact, I think I have been able to let go of quite a lot.
However, there are still some things remaining inside my heart,
and I felt that they would occasionally come to the surface
and "do me harm."
They would have a bad influence on those around me,
or I would feel painful myself,
and to me, they were nothing but evil existences.
But Ruru-san
described these evil existences as "sources of energy."
That when these evil existences change,
they turn into vast energy...
Ice turns into water, and water turns into water vapor,
changing its state.
When ice turns into water, its volume decreases slightly, but
water molecules become able to move.
After exceeding 0°C, the volume increases gradually, and
when it changes into water vapor,
it expands explosively.
I have received words from many people, starting with Lulu-san,
and by bathing in a shower of many words,
including those I spin myself,
I have been washing away my attachments and grudges!
And in that process,
I was gaining enormous energy!
I see, that is why since I encountered
note,
I have been happy, my heart has been fulfilled,
and I have been able to stay calm...
I realized that by reading and writing,
I am converting the fog inside me
into energy,
and receiving it.
The impact of this realization was truly intense,
and I was moved.
************************************
Crystal Lulu-sama,
your words truly
flow smoothly into my heart
and make me realize important things.
Knowing the power that words and writing possess,
I feel a sense of responsibility to convey them carefully...
My encounter with Lulu-san is also
a "treasure"
!
Thank you very much✨
