In the Corner of the Back Alley

One day, I wandered into a back alley.
No, to be precise,
I would later learn that
the place I had wandered into was a back alley.

Is the back alley on the map?

That back alley,
while seeming like you wouldn't know where to enter from,
opens its entrance quite smoothly.

That back alley,
while you might think it would be harsh to a newcomer who stumbled in by chance,
has a comfort to it,
as if it were embracing you with both arms.

That back alley,
gathers those who cherish its comfort,
but they don't understand at all what the others are saying.

Such is that back alley.
Whether they are communicating or not,
everyone still looks happy,
like a utopia.

Until that back alley was recognized as a back alley,
for three whole years, there was someone who
continued to maintain the back alley all alone.

That person
loved the single phrase they had created themselves,
never doubted the hidden power of that phrase,
and single-mindedly believed in the spread of people who would find it interesting.

That method,
might certainly not have been efficient.
However, a steady and honest style,
that seems out of place in today's world,
finally became a great swell.

It is now like 'Sarai'.

We,
actually crave that phrase, which is a bundle of beliefs,
and try to chant it again today.

No, it's beyond just chanting now.

Like 'Sarai' on the 24-Hour Television,
in the world of note, it has become something that everyone knows,
and everyone says,
something that has beendeified.

I witnessed that moment
in this back alley.
(Though I don't know if 'Sarai' is a god or not)
