[Gadget-loving Bookseller] 2023 Edition - What's in my bag -

I recently bought a new bag. While I was at it, I updated the contents of my bag. I'd like to introduce them to you with some photos.

So, let's get started!

[2023 Edition] Gadget-loving Bookseller - What's in my bag -

This time, I will introduce three patterns: styles I have actually used and styles I want to use in the future.

Plan 1 (Commuting Style)

・M1 MAX MacBook Pro 14

・HHKB

Even when working outside, I connect my HHKB to my MacBook. Continuing to use it has made me realize the merits of the HHKB all over again.

This style is quite easy to use! Another benefit is that I can use it without blocking the speakers on either side. The 14-inch might just be the perfect size!

・Traveler's Notebook for iPad mini 6 & Stationery

As for the stationery I carry around...

I have a lot of colorful pens! I use different colors to distinguish between work, personal, and important tasks, and I also use a stamp I recently bought to mark completed tasks as "Done".

・BT Earphones

AirPods Pro are very useful for online work and the like. When it comes to sound quality and pairing, the compatibility between Apple products is truly outstanding!

However, lately, I have been using ASUS ROG gaming earphones for listening to music during breaks. By making full use of the equalizer and other settings, it is possible to achieve a sound quality more to my liking than with AirPods.
I even use them at home for listening to music more than I thought I would, and the noise canceling is above standard. Although I bought them for gaming, they might be one of the best things I've purchased.

Carrying two pairs allows me to use them for different purposes, and above all, their compact size means they don't get in the way, which is great!

・USB-C hub for iPad
・Cables
・Apple Pencil replacement tips
・Apple Watch charger
・Smartphone stand

Having all this gives me peace of mind when carrying it around all day! I am still debating whether to buy a third-party product for the MacBook adapter. After all, the genuine one is quite bulky.

・Glasses, eye drops, and hand cream

These are essential since my work involves overusing my eyes and hands!
In addition to these, I also always carry things like Mintia and lip balm.

Plan 2 (Shooting & Editing Style)

For Plan 2, I want to operate in a style where I can go out on holidays to shoot and also do editing.

Since the luggage increases a little, I change the contents slightly from Plan 1.

・MX Keys Mini

I usually use an HHKB, but since my luggage increases when I go out to take photos or think about shooting videos in the future, I use the thin and compact "MX Keys Mini" keyboard.
It's a keyboard that hasn't seen much action until now, but as I've had more opportunities to touch it little by little, I've realized again that it really is a good keyboard!

・iPhone shooting set

・Microphone
・Microphone cable
・Wired earphones
・Lens cleaning kit
・Smartphone stand

I had carefully stored away the smartphone shooting set I bought previously, so it's practically brand new! I'll likely have more opportunities to use it in the future, so I pulled it out ♫

・Mirrorless camera

I'll head out once it gets warmer ♫ I plan to take lots of photos again with my mirrorless camera!

・LoupeDeck Live-S

It's compact, so I can take it outside. If you have the chance to go on an overnight trip, this Plan 2 style might be recommended! By the way, for this LoupeDeck... I set the note item to my icon ♫

Plan 3 (Casual style)

Plan 3 is a casual entertainment style that includes the Steam Deck. For times when I want to play games outside. I felt like I would almost never use it, but I still carry the Steam Deck around even now. It's also great that I can play during work breaks using my smartphone's tethering.

・Steam Deck

Playing games during break time is the best way to refresh ♫ I don't carry it every day, but I put it in my bag when I feel like I might be able to play that day.

Finally

How was it ♫
Since the capacity of the backpack I bought this time is limited, I have to choose what to carry.
Because of that, by changing the contents each time, I've also been freed from the weight.

The process of selecting what to use is mentally taxing, but considering the frequency of use, it was perhaps a good thing as it became a guideline for 'I can get by with at least this!'

I hope you find this helpful, and the WEXLEY backpack is cooler than I thought!
However, if you have the budget, I recommend purchasing a higher-end model!
