The small-group space 'Kanata's Veranda' that continued after I tried it on a whim
A small-group community I started
By now, I really don't remember
what I was thinking or how I felt when I first launched it
to be honest (laughs).
I felt that
a place where people could gather casually was necessary.
People who do spiritual work like us,
people who are thinking about doing it in the future,
and even people who are just interested without necessarily wanting to make it a job.
Somehow,
a rigid purpose like
'This is our goal!!!' might be necessary, but
I thought that by having that,
there might be people who feel
'I'm not invited.'
If there were a veranda where such people could
casually drop by,
maybe they would come.
Maybe I knew that somehow.
I can say that now, though.
Well, perhaps it's because I am the type of person
who easily feels
'not invited' myself.
If it doesn't exist, I should just make it.
I suddenly realized that
making things I wish existed or
thinking about things I want
might just be me giving them shape.
When I think about it that way,
macrame accessories are the same.
When I thought, 'I wonder if there's a design like this,'
I realized I could just make it myself.
With that kind of feeling,
when I start making things I need,
if there are people who resonate with it,
I've learned that it
properly takes shape.
I don't know the right answer before I start,
and it's not like I didn't have any anxiety.
But even so, because I want to make it myself,
I'll give it a try.
I just tried acting on it like that, really.
And in the case of the veranda, it has continued for half a year.
Life might just be like that, after all.
Thank you for reading until the end.
Thank you very much.
