On the side that can use AI. But, not from the beginning. ― I just kept going because it was fun.
Recently, triggered by an article I read,
I thought about something like this.
Is generative AI
only for people who are good at verbalization?
Isn't it because they are people who can give precise instructions
that they feel it has become 'convenient'?
Aren't people who were already efficient at work
just accelerating even further?
There were days when I thought that way.
1. I think I can use it now
Now, the structure of my sentences comes together naturally.
I am also enjoying video generation, even while making mistakes.
I think I am probably on the 'side that can use it'.
But—

2. At first, it was truly a mess
Vague instructions. Output that didn't come out as I thought.
I tried over and over again.
But, strangely, I wasn't afraid.
Because it felt like I had 'found a convenient app'.
For someone like me who can't draw well digitally,
seeing works I imagined take shape just with words
was simply fun.
3. What made the difference wasn't ability
The trigger was AI fan art for my favorite character.
It wasn't that I was particularly good at verbalization.
It wasn't that I could write perfect prompts either.
Starting from image generation,
to daily research,
and then to work.
The reason I became able to use it in stages was
Maybe—
I just kept going because it was fun.
That was all.
④ Even 5 years from now, beside someone you find a bit difficult
Even if AI becomes commonplace, there will surely still be people you feel are "a bit difficult."
At that time, rather than standing on the side of those who can use it, I want to be the person who stands beside them.
That is why I continue.
Even now.
Even if you find it a bit difficult right now.
I think it will still be okay.
How about you?
