[Photo Set] Making a Sylvanian Heights using Seria's Dollhouse Base [100-yen shop]
Hello!
This time, I'm going to write about how I made a 1K-style apartment for Sylvanian Families (hereinafter referred to as Sylvanian Heights) using amifa's dollhouse base.
Just like the Sylvanian housing complex I made last time, this one is also modular.

※ It might be easier to read this article if you read the Sylvanian housing complex article above first!
◾️ List of dollhouse base panels
I posted this for the Sylvanian housing complex as well, but I will use the panel diagram below to explain this time too.
・List of base panels

Note that I have added and changed some panels since the Sylvanian housing complex.
◾️ Changes to the panels
・Opened door frames in panels 13 and 14

・Opened another door frame in panel 16

・Added panel 17

These are the changes.
The panels used for this Sylvanian Heights are mainly
the normal base (1-3), and 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, and 17
.
◾️ Assembly diagram for Sylvanian Heights
This is what the assembly diagram for Sylvanian Heights looks like.

sections that will not be used as frames.
◾️Assembly
Let's actually assemble it according to the assembly diagram.
・Entrance/Kitchen (Left Wall)

I imagined Sylvanian Heights as an apartment type with a kitchen in the hallway.

I also changed the kitchen shelves and ventilation fan a little.

・Entrance/Kitchen (Right Wall)

This is the wall on the side with the bathroom door.

By the way, panel 16 has two frames opened, but only one frame is used in this assembly.
Therefore, I have attached a magnetic sheet from the back so that light does not shine through the frame.

to the unused frame section.

I will explain the assembly inside the bathroom later, so I will move on for now.

・Entrance/Kitchen (Living Room Side/Left Wall)

This is the hallway seen from the entrance.

・Entrance/Kitchen (Living room side, right wall)

This is the right wall version.

By the way, I have a door attached right now, but I think a curtain partition like this would also be cute.

・Living room (Entrance side, left wall)

・Living room (Entrance side, right wall)

The right side of the door is a closet.

This closet is made with the same inset frames as the doors and windows.

Just like the doors and such, you just fit it into the frame.

・Living room (Balcony side, left wall)

This is the left wall on the balcony side.

・Bath/Toilet

Finally, the bathroom and toilet.

So, unlike a housing complex, this one is a combined bath and toilet unit.

I removed the sink and mirror from the Sylvanian toilet set and am using them here.

I've installed the shower curtain like this.

I'm thinking that if I make good use of this, I might be able to attach hanging lights in the future.

By the way, the bathroom door and closet doors are folding doors, so I'll briefly explain how to make them.

◾️How to make folding doors
Prepare four pieces of 1mm thick cardboard cut into the shape of the doors.

Stick your favorite colored paper on them with double-sided tape. (I used white paper.)

Prepare some clear file or thin transparent plastic sheet cut to size.

Apply a privacy film for glass.

Stick it onto the cardboard using double-sided tape.

Glue the two pieces of cardboard together.

For the grooves and such, apply thin strips of white masking tape.

Apply masking tape around the edges of the cardboard as well.

Place the two completed doors next to each other and apply masking tape to the top, bottom, and middle.

And it's finished!

◾️Residents of Sylvanian Heights
For now, I'm planning to have the Maple Cat older sister live in Sylvanian Heights,

and the Persian Cat older sister live there too.

I'm still thinking about the contents of each room, so I think I'll add more details here once they're finished.
I hope to find various ways to use the dollhouse base in the future, so I'd be happy if you'd take a look again! Thank you for reading ♫
