Attentive care, a fleeting moment of maternal bliss
It feels cool, but moving makes me hot.
Sweat is streaming all over my body.
The weeds in the garden are growing vigorously despite the heat,
"Summer!"
they seem to be shouting.
In the midst of this, I took the dog for a walk.
I thought it would be cool and not too much of a burden on the dog, but it was the human who ended up wilting in the heat.
Returning home, I greeted the garden weeds—or rather, committed a massacre.
I showered them with herbicide like rain.
"I won't let you enjoy the summer! lol"
I told them.
Perhaps because of my evil deed, even more sweat poured down.
When I entered the house, my daughter was making iced coffee.
Daughter: "Here you go."
The ice clinked in the glass.
Daughter: "Is it good?
I forgot to put sugar in it.
I thought it would be fine since there's milk in it."
That's not the same as forgetting lol
But nothing made by her could ever taste bad.
That sentiment surpasses any seasoning.
Iced coffee in an air-conditioned room.
As I was thinking how happy I am,
Daughter: "Mom, your back."
she said.
In her hand was a wet towel.
Oh, she's going to wipe me down.
Thinking that, she wiped my whole body—my back, my stomach, my arms, and my legs.
Evaporative cooling!!
So cool.
When my daughter was a child,
"If you're hot, take a cold bath.
Wipe your body with a wet towel."
I would tell her, but she would just say "Hmm" and never actually do it.
She was like a power-hungry monster that fed on electricity.
But now.
Well, she's still eating up the electricity lol
She has grown up a little bit.
And in the last few days, she's been growing like a bamboo shoot.
I suppose all of this is because I've set a goal of employment support.
Me: "That was delicious. Thank you for the meal."
As I breathed a sigh of relief, these words popped out of my daughter's mouth.
Daughter: "I'm hungry. I want to eat somen noodles♪"
Ah, so after finding some coolness, a scorching hell was waiting for me, huh lol
