A Cute Gift

My daughter and son-in-law went out.
Since they always eat out on their days off,
I'm sure they're eating out today too.

That's what I thought as I saw them off.

If I just say that,
some people might worry, "Doesn't Kame-mama go with them?" or "Could it be that you don't get along with your son-in-law?"

But rest assured.
I don't like spending time on meals lol.
I do eat out occasionally, but
when I'm alone, I can take shortcuts, so it's a win-win.

And so, feeling like that today,
I quickly boiled some udon and finished my meal in a flash.
I think I'm great just for having made it lol.

Then my daughter and son-in-law came home.

Daughter: "Mom, here you go. Let's eat these together!"

I wondered what it was,

but it was a rabbit-shaped strawberry daifuku.

Daughter: "Bon appétit! (chomp) Oh no, its face is gone! lololol"

Me: "I ate mine from the butt lol."

It was a delicious little butt lol.
