When I was young, I challenged myself to obtain a difficult professional certification. People around me told me, "It's impossible for you," and I actually experienced failure many times. There wasn't just one or two times I wanted to throw in the towel when faced with thick textbooks.
However, I spurred myself on by thinking, "If I give up here, nothing will change," and I continued to study, even if just a little bit every day. About half a year later, I remember the sensation of content that had been so difficult suddenly clicking into place in my mind. And then, I achieved success.
What I held in my hands was not just a certificate, but the conviction that "consistency is power" and a "new me" filled with the confidence to face any difficulty.
