If you wish for it, it will come true

I caught my index finger in the door while at work. Bodybuilder No. 6 (a part-timer), who knows a lot about first aid, told me, 'Cool it down, and after that, keep your finger raised higher than your heart.' So, after cooling it with ice water, I wandered around the office with my right index finger held high above my head, looking like a suspicious religious leader pointing at the heavens.

The craving for butter that started yesterday hasn't subsided at all, so I held my right index finger up to the sky and chanted 'butter, butter,' and then Grandma (my lover's mother) baked me a butter cake. If you wish for it, it will come true.

It finished baking just as I got home from work and brewed some coffee. Grandma's butter cake is so delicious that I could easily eat a whole one.

Anyway, about Grandma, two years ago she suddenly became hard of hearing to the point where she needed a hearing aid, but apparently, it was cured when she yawned in the evening. Does that even happen? Well, in any case, it's a happy occasion. May Grandma be blessed. I shall point to the heavens and pray for Grandma's longevity.
