I Love Ikuta Ryokuchi #1: Japanese Irises and Southern Magnolias (2025-06-04)
For various reasons, I've been visiting Ikuta Ryokuchi almost every week, so I've decided to introduce the flowers and other sights of the season as a sort of fixed-point observation.

(Personal motivation:
I used to go to Ikuta Ryokuchi by bicycle to play when I was a child. Back then, I just had the impression of it being a mountain with a lot of scrub forest. It did have a planetarium, though.
But perhaps because I've gotten older, I now feel every week how wonderful it is and how lucky I am to have a place like this in my local area.
And since I'm sure this wonderful space is created thanks to the involvement of many people, I feel I must express my gratitude and share how good it is, which is why I'm posting this!)
The Iris Garden seems to be at its peak right now!
A few large Southern Magnolia flowers were in bloom. There are also many buds. I wonder if there's a time when they all bloom at once?
Hydrangea Hill still has many buds, so the peak viewing time is still a little way off.
