Self-Introduction | A Prescription for the Love-Lost, Gently Offered
Nice to meet you. And welcome to the "Sanctuary for the Love-Lost."
For you, whose heart is feeling clouded by love,
I hope this note becomes a place that gently and softly stays by your side.
"Why do I feel so anxious?"
"Why can't I stop thinking about him?"
"Can getting back together really happen?"
Nights spent worrying about love are especially lonely and painful because you don't show that side to anyone, right?
I started this note with the wish that it could be like a small light for you, who has come to a standstill in that "maze of love."
Being at a dead end in love,
I have experienced it many times myself.
Once again, I am the one writing this note, a woman who, while studying relationship counseling and psychology,
has also experienced plenty of tears and confusion right in the middle of being "love-lost" myself.
Days spent trying to get back together with an ex-boyfriend, only to have it fall through time and again.
There were times I thought, "Maybe I'll never be able to love again."
But then, I realized something.
"Most relationship troubles begin when you lose sight of yourself."
That is what I realized.
When you fall for someone and your heart's home becomes him,
you start to lose sight of your own true feelings and happiness, don't you?
At times like that, by re-learning psychology and communication,
and by "visualizing" my mental habits and patterns in love,
I was finally able to regain my own center, little by little.
Relationship troubles are
not "because you are bad."
・I feel like his texts have become cold
・I'm anxious because I don't understand the feelings of the person I like
・I can't forget my ex-boyfriend
・I want to get back together, but I'm scared to make the first move
・Even when I like someone, it never works out
There are so many people carrying these kinds of worries.
But strangely, everyone convinces themselves that "I'm the only one struggling this much."
That is exactly why I want to tell you first:
"It's not that your love life isn't working out because you are bad."
That is what I want to say.
Love is an "emotional communication" that requires feelings to reach one another.
Yet, none of us were ever taught "how to love."
It's only natural that things don't go well.
However, if you face it properly, you can change things.
What you can find in this note
—A gentle prescription for you—
What I want to deliver in this note is
not one-sided advice like "do this and it will work out."
Rather, it is:
・Hints for carefully observing your "own feelings"
・Ways to know your "love patterns" and break free from them
・Ways to let go of mental habits and assumptions
・The mental preparation needed for the process of getting back together or unrequited love
I will deliver these things, mixed with anecdotes and stories,
so that when you finish reading,
"Oh, maybe my heart feels a little lighter,"
I hope you will think that,
as a gentle "prescription for love."
Finally,
this is a place where you can take a deep breath.
When you are struggling with love, what is the hardest part?
Isn't it the feeling that you are the only one being left behind?
But it is okay. You are not alone.
In this note, I plan to cover themes such as the following:
How to steady your heart when you want to reconcile but cannot reach out
How to think when the person you like starts acting cold
How to spend nights when you feel crushed by anxiety
How to cope when you feel like you are the only one in love
How to cultivate a 'self-axis' so you aren't swayed by love
Love is actually meant to be freer, and you should be able to be yourself.
Why not take the first small step toward believing that together, starting here?
When your heart feels like it might break, or when you are uncontrollably anxious,
I hope this 'sanctuary' becomes a place for you to take a deep breath.
I look forward to getting to know you.
May your love progress toward a happiness that is uniquely yours.
And may I be able to support you in that process, even if just a little.
