That is because this work has no ending.

While reading, I thought for a moment that this wasn't a novel, but a puzzle.
But that must be Mr. Michio's intention.
He wants us to enjoy the mystery freely and solve the truth; perhaps that desire has culminated in this style.
Although there is no solution chapter, most mystery fans will probably be able to reach the basic conclusion somehow.
I was able to solve the mysteries of the first and third chapters, but I only managed about half of the second and final chapters, and I couldn't reach the truth of the whole thing.
In the end, I managed to learn the full picture by referring to articles online.
Reading articles like this makes me feel like Mr. Michio has even factored in online spoilers and is enjoying it himself.

Furthermore, a sequel titled 'Ikenai 2', created with the same concept, has also been published.
