Replacing GOAL 'GCY42 (commonly known as 4350 type)' with 'GCY41'

[Request details: I lost my key, so I would like a new one]

I lost one of my three keys, so for #safety, I would like to replace the #front door lock with a new one.

The customer requested that the new key be the same type as the current one.

Upon inspection, the existing lock was the #GOAL jagged-edge type key, '#GCY42' (commonly known as #4350 type), which is #resistant to #unauthorized unlocking from the #keyhole.

First, I #loosened the set screw next to the indoor door knob to remove the knob, then removed the screws holding the #box-type #lock to #expose the #cylinder.

Here, there was #one #issue where the #shape of the new #cylinder and #tail were #slightly #different, but I handled it by using #specialized #tools to #swap the round part on the back.

Since it is the same type #structurally, the work was completed by returning the parts in #reverse order.

Even in #cases where other companies have declined, we may be able to handle it, so we would appreciate it if you would consider us for a quote.
