I'm a girly trader who tries to be careful not to overeat (lol).

Today, I want to talk about a 'realization' that became a major turning point for me, from when I was lost in my trading to how I am now able to trade consistently. It was realizing my own 'winning pattern'.

At first, I thought that market analysis was everything in FX. I studied various indicators, memorized patterns, and looked at a lot of information online... but it didn't work out. Looking back now, I think I was desperately trying to imitate 'methods that didn't suit me'.

One day, when I happened to look back at my past trades, I noticed that there was a common thread when I won. That was my 'winning pattern'. This was more about 'self-understanding'—knowing my own habits, instincts, and the timing and flow I'm good at—rather than just market analysis.

For example, I'm the type who feels more comfortable dealing with slow-moving market situations rather than fast-paced ones. Once I realized that, I stopped forcing myself to enter trades in a hurry, and naturally, my unnecessary entries decreased. Just being conscious of my own 'winning strategy' gives me a sense of mental stability.

There are many trading styles in the world, but whether they suit you is a different matter. That's why I think it's important to know yourself well. That becomes a much stronger weapon than flashy techniques or secret tricks.

If you feel like you're not getting results in FX, try stopping for a moment and looking back at what kind of situations you were good at. Small feelings of discomfort, or conversely, the feeling of 'I was able to trade calmly in this situation,' will surely be a hint.

Trading is like a dialogue between the market and yourself. Listening to your own voice properly can reduce your impatience, and as a result, it can lead to a good flow. Being just a little kind and attentive to yourself might be the first step toward victory.
