Aiming for Stable Profits with a Non-Discretionary FX Strategy! Fully Automated Logic

It's Kaerun here! 🐸
I woke up a little earlier than usual, opened my charts, and found that trades had been entered and profits taken automatically. That's right, I woke up at 10:00 AM, which is earlier than usual... Sorry, I really need to fix my lifestyle habits.
And then? I couldn't help but mutter, 'Wait, I didn't do anything?' (Playing innocent, Kaerun lol). While I live this 'almost zero judgment' FX life now, I used to work as an office lady and was constantly pushed around by the charts. Perhaps being pressed for time back then is what led me to this non-discretionary trading style.

In this post, I want to share how I arrived at a non-discretionary FX strategy and started earning stable profits 'almost automatically.' I'll cover the background, my mindset, and tips for increasing reproducibility. If you are tired of making discretionary decisions or have lost your confidence, this should provide some helpful hints.

What led me to switch to a non-discretionary FX strategy?

When I first started FX, I learned the 'royal road' of discretionary trading that everyone goes through.
Online information, streams from popular traders, free seminars, indicators trending on social media... I tried my hand at absolutely everything.

But honestly—the results were a disaster.
That's because I didn't have a 'decision-making axis' within myself.

I won today, but I'll cut losses tomorrow.
I have rules, but I change them based on my emotions.
Even so, I was so fascinated by the world of trading that I couldn't quit.

Then one day, it suddenly occurred to me: 'Maybe I'm just bad at discretionary trading?'
That was a bit of a shock, but at the same time, it was an opportunity.

'Then, why not just stop using discretion?'
This realization changed my trading life.

3 steps needed to get closer to full automation

It didn't happen overnight, but I eventually created a method that approaches non-discretionary or fully automated FX trading.
After many failures, I finally developed my own style.

Here, I will introduce three steps that I actually focused on.

1. Have the courage to record your 'losses'

First, I started by objectively looking at where I lost.
When trading discretionarily, you tend to want to 'pretend it never happened' because you don't want to lose.

However, in a non-discretionary strategy, that 'pattern of loss' is exactly what provides the hint.
That's why I recorded every losing trade and reviewed 'what criteria I used to enter.'

2. Make entry rules 'simple and quantifiable'

FX entry rules often fall into the trap of being 'too complex.'
I used to combine five or more indicators, but that just makes verification and accuracy ambiguous.

What's important is simple rules that can be expressed in numbers.
A system that doesn't allow your own biases to enter is the first step toward non-discretionary trading.

This is a bit of an inside story, but in my paid articles, I delve more specifically into these 'quantification tricks.'
(The link is at the end of this page, so please read until the end! ♪)

3. Prepare a chart environment that 'calms you just by looking at it'

Even if it's non-discretionary, you won't last long in an environment that makes you feel 'ugh...' the moment you look at the chart.
I incorporated my favorite colors and layout into my chart screen to reduce the psychological burden.

In fact, I have a real sense that a 'comfortable trading environment' was significantly related to the stability of my profits.

'Non-discretionary = easy' is not the case; it's 'non-discretionary = stabilization'.

Some of you who have read this far might be thinking, 'Isn't non-discretionary kind of cheating?'

But non-discretionary is not just an 'easy' method. Rather, it requires a lot of thought and trial and error to create a system that isn't swayed by emotions.

I also thought at first, 'Is it really okay to be this simple?'
But that led to the realization that **'it is stable precisely because you don't make judgments.'**

Automation is not about stopping your thinking.
It is 'letting go after thinking it through.'

If you are currently feeling 'I'm tired of FX...',
or if you are thinking 'I don't want to lose any more...',
those feelings are by no means wasted.

I also worried, hesitated, and lost a lot in the same way.
But the 'courage not to decide' brought me a winning flow.

If you thought, 'I want to know more specifically' or 'I wish I could know a little more about those rules...',
I share more in-depth content in the paid article.

In that article, I have compiled tips for connecting non-discretionary methods to lifestyle-level profits, such as the 'secrets of quantification' and 'checkpoints to increase reproducibility' that I couldn't cover here.

I sincerely hope that you will be able to acquire 'trading that is not swayed by judgment' from now on.🐸
May today be a wonderful trading day for you too.✨
