Now, let's get to the announcement. Here are ten poems in no particular order.
From the goldfish bowl, a splash of a tail, wake up now
A sense of silence so profound that the splash of the goldfish's tail can be heard. The message is 'wake up now.' For some reason, it reminded me of the fantastical world of Ghibli.
Lips that know not of kisses, green ground cherries
Temari-san's personification of inanimate objects is always excellent. When they turn red, it is the season to know of kisses.
Mizu-yokan, how are you? A smile ripples
'A smile ripples' is one thing, but 'how are you' would never come to mind. Especially in the middle seven syllables. Thoroughly gentle and soft.
Thunderous applause, a chorus of cicadas, rain falling.
It is noisy, yet silent. A sign, a premonition. I love this worldview.
Summer is love, a voiceless voice, I love you.
A voiceless voice saying I love you. Important words. Not "summer love," but "summer is love." It works because it is summer. It is so endearing.
Run across the ice field! A penguin on a unicycle.
An ice field is a winter kigo (seasonal word). Yet, for some reason, it feels like summer. Even Antarctica has a summer. I have liked your other haiku since the Space Cup as well.
The light of the Scorpion, asking how to live on a summer night.
Consulting the night sky about one's path and life. Summer is that kind of season, too. The light of the Scorpion is the perfect partner for such a consultation.
A dull thud in the return slot, a summer evening.
The rhythm breaks before the middle seven syllables, leading into 'a summer evening.' The sense of resolution is wonderful. The 'dull thud' before 'a summer evening' is also effective. Thud. You have talent.
Is it the Sea of West on the moon? A wheat storm.
The Sea of West on the moon = a wheat field changing its shadows due to the wind. I've never seen it, but it's plausible. Perhaps it's a primal landscape.
Putting on my hearing aid, the cicada chorus blows away.
The scene comes to mind. It conveys the roar of the cicadas even more effectively.
