The winner of the Tsurukame Cup Haiku Grand Prize, 'Pu-san', is changing their name again

The winner of the Tsurukame Cup Haiku Grand Prize, Pu-san. When they first started on note, their note name was Analog Obasan Makopu.

It was last November that I gave that Analog Obasan the new name, Makopu. I presented it as a supplementary prize for the unofficial award (the Akita Yosuke Excellence Award) at the Shiro Cup, and they were very happy with it.

Even Kacchi-san said something like that. As someone who adopts people's opinions immediately, I adopted it right away! I will just be 'Makopu'!

And yet, that happened.

Three months later, without any consultation with me, the person who named them, they arbitrarily changed their name to Pu.

Pu (It feels like me, and I was eventually called this in the past too. Is it okay to reveal my identity??? ) Anyway, my name is getting shorter and shorter, but please get to know me 🙇‍♀️ Name change February 2nd

As the one who named them, I felt a little disappointed, but it couldn't be helped...

Or so I thought.

Three months later, they told me to give them a haiku name.

Alright! Let's do it! I asked them straight out, 'Please give me a haiku name!'

They thought about it while drinking... for 3 minutes. 'Fu'. Pu and Fu, lol. The meaning is 'freedom', apparently. It's good! Very good!

.... It can't be helped.

And then, yesterday.

You might think I'm being greedy, but I want that award now. The Akita Yosuke Excellence Award. But, it's a name that everyone has finally learned, and a name I've come to like myself. Something that people can read with the same feeling as before, but without revealing that it's me. How about the Akita Yosuke Award?

.... It can't be helped.
