Happiness is contagious ( *´艸`)
Good morning.
This is Mamanosuke (*´▽`*)
Lately, I have been receiving news of happiness from friends at the Dream Consultation Room,
and as a mother, I am so happy (*´▽`*)
about it.
The other day, the head of the Dream Consultation Room,
Keiko Emura, reached 365 days on note...
And today, Yuzu-san published a book
and made her debut as an author ( *´艸`)
For some reason, wonderful things
have been happening lately (*´▽`*)
“Mom, you seem
happy again today, don't you? (*´▽`*)”
(´ー`*) Yup, wonderful things have been
happening lately, you see (^^)/
“But even if you say wonderful things are happening,
they aren't happening to you, right? (´・ω・`)”
Well, that's true (*^▽^*)
But when wonderful things happen to my friends, it somehow makes me happy too ( *´艸`)
“(-ω-;) Hmm, I don't really
understand that feeling (´・ω・`)”
Then, let me explain it to you using my specialty,
positive psychology (*´▽`*)
Human connections are something that
cannot be separated from happiness (=゚ω゚)ノ
“(-ω-;) Hmm, human relationships...
They tire me out, so I prefer being alone (~_~;)”
Of course, time alone is important, but...
even if it's just friends you only exchange New Year's cards with,
staying connected increases your sensitivity to happiness (^^♪
“Just from one postcard like that? (~_~;)”
It may just be a postcard, but...
being connected to someone
has a positive effect on both your mind and body (*'▽')/
There is even research showing that after people with heart disease are discharged from the hospital,
if they have friends who support them emotionally,
their survival rate is 3 times higher
than those who are lonely and alone! (^^)!
“3 times higher (゚д゚)!
In that case, human connections are certainly important!”
It is certainly true that human relationships can be a hassle, but
if you can build wonderful relationships,
it also leads to an increase
in your own motivation (^^♪
Besides, when humans form good relationships,
the happiness hormone known as “oxytocin”
is released ( *´艸`)
"You mean connecting with people can even trigger hormones? Σ(゚Д゚)"
That's right! It's amazing, isn't it? (^^)/
And you know,
when you can genuinely be happy for your friend's happiness,
your friend feels happy too ( *´艸`)
"That's just like what Mom always says,
that happiness is contagious ( *´艸`)"
(´ー`*) Yup! It's called the ripple effect of happiness,
and it's actually scientifically proven ( *´艸`)
自分が幸せ( *´艸`)
↓
直接のお友達の幸福度が15%UP(^^)/
↓
お友達のお友達の幸福度が10%UP(^^)/
↓
お友達のお友達のお友達の幸福度が6%UP(^^)/That's how happiness keeps spreading and spreading (^^♪
"I don't know how they experimented on it,
but it's true that when Mom is happy,
I feel happy too ( *´艸`)"
Exactly ( *´艸`)
That's why a friend's happiness
leads to your own happiness too (^^♪
"I see, that's why Mom always
talks about her friends' happy news as if it were her own (*´▽`*)"
That's right (*´▽`*)
So, my dear daughter,
when something good happens to your friends,
let's celebrate with them (*´▽`*)
"I was always jealous of other people's happiness
and couldn't be genuinely happy for them,
but from now on, I think I can say 'Congratulations!!' ( *´艸`)"
Your own happiness is the most important thing,
but it's wonderful to be able to feel
that a friend's joy is your happiness too (*´▽`*)
Get happy yourself through your friends' happiness (^^♪
The ripple effect of happiness!
I hope you get to feel it too (^^)/
With your friends' happiness,
your own happiness might even go up by 10% ( *´艸`)
Thank you so much for listening to our family's story today
(人''▽`) Thank you very much☆
