On June 4th, my mother's ballet recital
ended safely ( *´艸｀)

The warm comments from my friends
made me very happy✨
Thank you very much ( *´艸｀)💕

I have been doing ballet for 15 years, but
this year was the toughest one yet💦

Work was so busy that I couldn't take any time off,
I somehow managed to attend lessons while completely exhausted,
and even had self-practice on Sundays, making it a very hard schedule💦

Since it was my last recital in my 40s,
the decline in my physical strength was also noticeable ( ﾉД`)ｼｸｼｸ…

But by encouraging each other with my friends,
I was able to get through the recital somehow ( *´艸｀)

And since this was the first recital after the pandemic,
my ballet friends also came to the venue ( *´艸｀)

And of course, my daughter was there too ( *´艸｀)

At the studio I used to attend, the teacher would say

"You'll never improve no matter how long you wait ( 一一)"
so I was always the odd one out and
my friends would laugh at me, but for this recital

"You can actually improve even as an adult ( *´艸｀)"
"You're dancing more beautifully than before"
were things my friends told me for the first time✨

And usually,

"Your body alignment is wrong (-ω-)/
Your toes aren't pointed (。-`ω-)/"
my daughter would give me harsh criticism, but...

"There was nothing that bothered me this time ( *´艸｀)
The adults' dancing was actually
better than the children's ( *´艸｀)"

she praised me for the first time
ヾ(≧∇≦*)/Yay💕

"So, here is a reward for you ( ^^) _💐~~"

I even got flowers✨
This makes me so happy ( *´艸｀)

When I was a child, ballet was something
only my younger sister was allowed to take, so it was something I longed for ( *´艸｀)

So when I started as an adult,
I became completely hooked (´∀｀*)ｳﾌﾌ

I'm nearly fifty, but on stage, I can even
become a princess in a dream world ( *´艸｀)

Having a hobby as an adult is a wonderful thing (´∀｀*)hehe

Balancing it with work is tough, but
I intend to keep doing ballet (^^♪

Someday, performing on stage with my grandchild ( *´艸｀)
I even have a dream like that (∀｀*ゞ)hehe
