If a Master Painted This Scenery / Experiment 4
In this series, I have a master of painting recreate scenery I like using AI. Thanks to your warm reception, we have reached the fourth installment.
Click here for the previous installment:
This time, I will have a master paint a cityscape that I like.
On my birthday, July 4th, my family celebrated with me at a restaurant in the city center. At that time, I looked through the window at the Tokyo landscape as it transitioned from evening to night and thought, 'What kind of painting would this make?' while taking a photo with my smartphone. I will use that as the source image.
I want to reflect the master's painting style more strongly than in the first to third installments. Therefore, I will use settings that loosen the constraints of the original photo.
※Image Generation App = Leonardo. Ai
※Image Guidance = Image to Image
※Strength = 0.5 (0.6 up to the 3rd installment)
(Since the range is 0.2 to 0.9, 0.5 is about halfway between the original photo constraint and the master's painting style)※Prompt Detail = Painter's name, oil paint
The first landscape was taken at 18:27. Outside, it was still almost as bright as daytime.

I feel that the building under construction in the foreground takes up too much of the screen, but I will not correct it and will leave it to the hands of the AI master as is.I'll leave it to AI Utrillo
.
Now, what will happen?

Oh, they turned the roof of the building under construction in the foreground into something like a pedestrian deck. This is a pleasant surprise
. AI Utrillo is quite good, isn't it? That said, the foreground feels a bit heavy. I'll try cutting it slightly using PC drawing functions.

I think the balance is better now.
Next, I'll try the night view at 19:34, after the sun has completely set.

Since the window frame is reflected too prominently, I will use an image with this cut out as the source image.

I love the night views of Hasui Kawase, so I'll ask AI Hasui to do this one. The setting conditions are the same as for the daytime scene. Now, what will happen?

Oh, this is nice. I like this feeling. Since I like it, I'll try refining it with Leonardo. Ai.

It is a small difference, but it has certainly become clearer. I am very satisfied with this picture.
Next is a photo taken at 19:34. I took it because the line of taxis waiting for passengers in front of the station looked like a school of tropical fish and was beautiful.

For this one too, please use the same settings as Night View 1 for AI Hasui.

Whoa! W-w-wait! This isn't a night view. Moreover, the taxis have turned into eerie unidentified life forms. This is a surprise I am not happy about.
Hmm, the real Hasui Kawase was a painter who was active from the Taisho to the Showa era. Perhaps AI Hasui is not good at modern taxis.
A master painter who could skillfully turn modern taxis into a painting... I cannot think of one right away. Well then, it is irregular, but let's try Ghibli. Ghibli is a modern master (or so I have decided on my own). However, since Ghibli is known for anime, I will change the Prompt Detail as follows.
*Prompt Detail = Ghibli, anime
Now, what will happen?

Hmm... it is certainly very Ghibli-esque. However, it has strayed far from the original scenery. That is a pity.
In this experiment, I liked Night View 1 by Master AI Hasui the best. I will use this as the top image for my post.
Thank you for staying with me until the end.
