The photo selection process for the 2025 original calendar, which we at the A-Asia Group have been working on, has been successfully completed, and we have finally entered the production stage.

This calendar will not be a mere tool for marking dates, but a special piece of work infused with a message that celebrates the hopes of foreign workers living and working in Japan, as well as the bonds they build.
Photo Call and Its Background
The call for photos for the 2025 calendar was conducted widely among foreign workers employed in Hokkaido and the Kanto region.
The goal was to focus on the 'daily life' and 'future' of the foreign workers whom the A-Asia Group supports every day, and to visually convey how they live, work, and continue to pursue their dreams in Japan.
In the photo selection process, works were chosen from those gathered from various regions that highlight the individuality of applicants with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Their works brilliantly captured how they adapt to Japanese lifestyles while preserving the traditions of their home countries, which touched the hearts of the judges.
Among them, diverse perspectives were reflected, such as the importance placed on time with family, active participation in local communities, and a serious attitude toward daily labor, all of which give us much to think about.
The Theme is 'Bonds' and 'Future'
The theme for the 2025 calendar is 'Bonds' and 'Future.' It expresses through photography the bonds that foreign workers living in Japan build with Japanese society, while simultaneously embodying the hopes they hold for the future.
This aims to go beyond the role of a simple calendar to depict deep, cross-border bonds and a positive vision for the future.
In particular, with the Technical Intern Training Program transitioning to the 'Training and Employment System,' the securing and development of foreign human resources are becoming increasingly important.
Behind this institutional reform lies a serious labor shortage due to Japan's declining birthrate and aging population, but at the same time, the role that foreign workers should play is being re-evaluated.
The 2025 calendar can be said to be a symbolic work for helping people widely understand this current situation.
