My First Note | A Simple (but Long) Self-Introduction
Nice to meet you. I am a self-improvement-oriented, lazy mom on maternity leave (it's a long title).
You might think I sound like a decent person just because I use the term "self-improvement," but that's not the case. I have nothing to boast about.
I am merely aiming for "self-improvement." I often laze around, too. After all, I'm lazy!
I decided to start this note because I wanted to output and organize the things I think about in my head every day, and if possible, share them with readers (in my own lazy way).
I have a self-introduction in my profile section on note, but I'll introduce myself a bit more thoroughly here.
1. Struggling (?) to improve myself every day
I am a professional (though currently on maternity leave). In the future, I hope to work in a research position related to my field.
I am fighting through childcare and housework to achieve that self-improvement (though I'm not that strong of a woman, so I often give in to temptation).
By the way, I graduated from a national university in Tokyo and then completed a graduate program at a former Imperial University (I'm still paying off my student loans).
2. From Okinawa, living in a core city
I am from Okinawa, a place everyone loves (?), right? People in Okinawa tell me, "Your features are subtle," while people outside the prefecture tell me, "Your features are distinct," and honestly, I'm at a loss (?).
I currently live in a core city. Once you live in a convenient city, it's hard to leave, isn't it?
3. Around 30
I haven't been able to shake off my fatigue lately; what should I do? I've reached the point where I want to rely on supplements.
4. Trying for a second child
My first child is over a year old, so I've started trying. Trying to conceive involves many things, and there are many burdens and painful moments. I want to vent here when I need to, and I also want to share information if it can be helpful to others.
5. Childcare and housework...
Childcare and housework take a huge amount of time and effort. Of course, I prioritize my child's healthy growth above all else, but on that premise, I try my best to make things as easy as possible to create time for self-improvement.
Basically, I can't do housework at all (that's why baby food was seriously tough). I hope you can take comfort in knowing there's someone even worse off than you.
6. I often mess up
Most recently, I drove without realizing my tire was flat and almost ruined the wheel (my dad helped me out).
7. My husband is a good person
I am supported by my husband to the point where I could say I exist because of him. He is a good person. I feel I need to control my level of laziness so he doesn't get fed up with me.
That's my self-introduction. Since I'm lazy, there's a good chance this will be my only post, but if I can (?), I'd like to post again. If anyone would like to give me a "like" (is that what it's called?), I'd appreciate it. It serves as extrinsic motivation for me (lol).
