Becoming someone who can face the despair of realizing 'that wish will not come true'
A dream I had been envisioning for decades, or at the very least,
for over 30 years.
A very ordinary wish that most people easily see come true.
In my case, no matter what I did or how hard I tried, it just wouldn't come true.
I 'devoted myself,' 'supported others,' and 'contributed.'
Sometimes I was hurt, and even when I was bleeding all over, it was still no use.
Even so, while healing, I would stand up dozens, hundreds of times, telling myself 'I can still do more,' only to have my vital points gouged out each time.
When I truly,'Ah, that wish of mine will not come true'realized that.
What flowed there were
tears shed to become more 'free,' letting go of 'trying hard,'
and letting go of 'support,' 'duty,' and 'common sense' entirely.
Even though most people have it come true normally,
I even let go of that 'normal.'
Just how much have we, as sensitive people, put our 'true feelings' on the back burner?
How much have we let the most important part of us, our 'own hearts,' be crushed to death under the weight of those pieces of furniture?
(*I hesitated to use such strong language, but we sensitive people have been doing things like that in our daily lives for years and decades.)
Let's save ourselves from that.
You are the only one who can protect your 'heart and true feelings' in the 'now,' which are more important than any common sense, debt of gratitude, or the past.
Sometimes in life, 'giving up' is more important than 'trying hard.'
Love yourself, who kept believing even while covered in wounds that 'if I try hard, things will work out.'
Love yourself, who, after being wounded, becomes even lighter by 'giving up and becoming freer.'
You, who have received so many wounds and felt them, but kept trying to grasp 'love.'
It is okay to be 'free' from everything now, free from yourself.
The tears you could never shed for so long—
will bring you the "medal of an ending" and the "crown of a beginning."
Always cherish your own peace of mind, no matter what.
There is nothing more important than that.
When you realize that you have only been repeating painful experiences because you couldn't learn that lesson, you will
become a person who "can face the despair of realizing that wish will not come true."
