The Biggest Realization: 'The Compound Interest of Interaction' | Finally Reached 500 Followers!
I just posted my two-month milestone article a week ago, but
before I knew it, I had surpassed 500 followers.
First of all,
to everyone who consistently reads my articles,
thank you so much for your support!
Actually, when I reached 100 followers,
I set 500 as my immediate goal.
Honestly, I am the most surprised person of all.
But what I want to share this time
is not just that I reached 500 followers.
I want to talk about something I realized this past week:
“Interaction with people has compound interest.”
Today, I’ll channel my inner engineer
and mix in a little bit of the analysis and reflection I do in my daily work.
Experiencing the compound interest of interaction
I’ve been busy interacting with everyone lately, but
this past week, I really felt that the reactions have clearly changed.
Therefore,
I checked what the numbers actually look like.
■ Trends for the first month ■ Trends for the last week
Total views: +3337 Total views: +1469
Comments: +11 Comments: +47
Likes: +500 Likes: +605
Followers: +140 Followers: +119

“The results for the last week were almost equal to or better than the first month.”
What’s particularly noteworthy is that even though the views are lower than in the first month, there are more comments and likes.
I believe this iscaused by the trust built through interaction and an increase in readers who want to read more.I am truly grateful. 🙇♂️
When I look at the dashboards of people with over 1,000 followers, I see some surprising numbers.
Before, I could only think, “That’s amazing.”
But this time, after analyzing my own numbers, I was able to grasp for the first time the idea that “the accumulation of interactions works like compound interest.”
It was truly the moment I realizedhow important the compound interest of interaction is, driven by follower growth and building relationships of trust.realized.
Since I started interacting with people, the scenery has completely changed.
The turning point
was this past week.
I’ve always been shy,
and I’m not good at starting conversations myself.
That's why I thought that even on note,
if I wrote good articles, they would be read.
That's what I believed.
But I decided to take the plunge and
started commenting myself.
Reading other people's articles
Conveying my empathy
Writing words of gratitude
At first, I was honestly embarrassed. (lol)
But after continuing for a week,
strangely enough, I got used to it.
I had avoided interaction, thinking I was bad at it,
but I realized it might have just been a case of 'don't knock it until you try it' (or perhaps I had grown).
It was truly a moment where I realized that by challenging myself with things I had never experienced before, there is a new world that comes into view.
Meeting people gave me confidence in being myself
Actually, because my interactions increased,
it wasn't just my followers that increased.
There is an even bigger change.
That is,
being able to write articles that are true to myself.
The articles that have done well recently are,
Why I buy expensive things even though I'm a saver (102 likes)
Why I can keep investing even when stock prices fall (130 likes)
Things I realized while aiming for FIRE (168 likes)
and so on; they were all articles about my own values.
Through interacting with all of you,
I've come to think, 'It's okay to just be myself.'
That's why lately,
instead of chasing reactions,
I feel like I've been able to share ways of thinking that enrich life through asset building.
For those who want to increase their followers and engagement from here on out
Two months ago, I had
zero experience with social media.
Reaching 500 followers is, of course, a happy milestone.
But what makes me even happier is,
that writing articles has become fun
that I have met more people
And,
that I have found my own unique style of posting.
The first step really takes courage.
But because I took that step,
I was able to see the view I see today.
If you are currently
struggling to grow on note,
find your own style + try your best to interact with others
please put your full effort into these two things.
At first, there was little engagement, and
I thought, 'My articles must be bad.'
That's what I thought.
But I was wrong.
Writing articles and
interacting with people
are both important.
Even if each individual interaction is small,
the more you stack them up, the greater their value becomes.
That is why I
will continue to not only write articles,
but also cherish my encounters with people,
and keep moving forward one step at a time.
Let's think together about how to approach note in our own way!
Thank you for reading until the end!
I would be happy if this article helps your life even a little.
If you felt even a little bit
'I'll try harder on note!'
and resonated with this, it would encourage me if you could give me a 'like,' follow me, or leave a comment with your thoughts.
