Happiness (Poem)

Particles of energy in the darkness

breathe life into it

Clad in lukewarm and sharp thorns

illuminating the world of the dark night

Weeds peek out from the cracks in the concrete

Invited by the jazz drifting on the winter wind

The dance begins with repeated hot breaths

Something casual but beautiful

I will not overlook it

The happiness that lies beyond it...

In the darkness, listening to the voice of the flash

That happiness dwells in a prepared heart

The eyes of my mother, who told me this long ago, warm my heart
