When thoughts quiet down, you begin to hear
By focusing your awareness on feeling your body's reactions
and continuing to be here and now,
you will begin to be able to catch
your own voice, which you were previously unaware of.
That is what is called "intuition"
or what is called a "sense of discomfort."
What is talked about in spiritual circles,
things referred to as "messages coming down," "the voice of your higher self," or "signs."
These are all, every one of them, your own voice.
They were actually always welling up from within you,
but because you were chased by your thoughts and were not in the "now,"
you simply couldn't hear them.
Once you catch your own voice and start being in the now,
your inner self becomes quiet,
and you become sensitive to what you see and hear in daily life,
and to the outside world you are observing.
Practice: Write without trying to write.
Words that "suddenly" caught your attention,
colors you were "somehow" drawn to,
things that you are curious about for no reason or basis.
Those small, wordless feelings of discomfort or intuition
are your own voice delivered by your unconscious.
Collect these voices by noting them down on your smartphone or writing them on paper.
Of course, even if you can't take notes immediately,
in a small gap of time or before going to sleep,
you can look back for a moment,
thinking, "Come to think of it, that thing caught my attention."
When I looked at the sky, I felt somehow calm.
When I heard a song playing in a shop, I remembered the past.
Oh! For some reason, that word just now stuck with me.
Even if you can't write well, just words are fine.
The important thing is just to write without overthinking.
Don't be conscious of having to write, just capture the moment
when something "suddenly" or "somehow" caught your attention.
As you continue to take notes, what you were previously unconscious of,
"what you are interested in," will become something
you can be aware of through your notes.
What were you actually thinking?
What is it that you truly desire from your heart...?
Such moments will suddenly arrive.
Listening to your own voice is knowing yourself.
Knowing yourself is cherishing yourself.
That leads to believing in yourself.
