How did it come to this (Preamble 1)

When I pulled a 'flying underwear' stunt on the BL project on note, it sparked a sudden underwear-related development that spread to the 'BL in 100 characters' project. I thought it would just be a little joke, so how did it come to this? (?_?)

The prompt that tempted me (Preamble 2)

Originally, the prompt was just 'forgot to wear underwear,' but as is obvious if you look at the article that started it all, it only takes a word or two to reach the punchline.
The shortest one is just a single '...Huh?' Even with supplementary explanation, it's twelve characters. Is this a speedrun?

If I just push the underwear angle, the content might get biased, and I wanted one more push... since I'm at it, I want some emotional elements too... as I was thinking that, I could see a whole swarm of emotional tropes waiting there, you know...?
