Facing myself thoroughly for the first time in 60 years - Synchronicity Cards
A story about a woman who had been suppressing her true feelings
reclaiming her own voice through cards.
This is a record of a
“Heart Liberation” session guided by Synchronicity Cards.
“Even though I’ve lived for over 60 years... I realized that if I don’t speak my true feelings, it will never end, and this was my first experience having to face myself.”
That is what Yuko (a pseudonym), a woman in her 60s living in Gifu Prefecture, told me.
These are her impressions after receiving a Synchronicity Card session.
What are Synchronicity Cards?
Synchronicity Cards are a tool that helps draw out the “voice within yourself” by drawing two cards at once: one for color and one for a message.
The colors and words you are drawn to
are messages sent by your subconscious.
The color Yuko chose was “Blue”
The keywords for blue include
“calm, water, reason, communication, ripples,” etc. The word that resonated with Yuko was “calm.”
“Does being calm mean not being emotional?”
“Is it bad to be emotional?”
“Oh... because that’s what my parents told me while I was growing up...”
Yuko, who has suppressed her emotions
and swallowed her words.
I believe she protected her heart
by suppressing herself, thinking, “I must remain calm.”
What appeared before her
was the message card [I shine]. It is a card that carries the meaning of “Let go of your fears.”
“It’s okay to let go of that fear now.”
“Open the door to your heart. You are the only one who can make yourself shine.”
That is what the cards were saying to her.
Incidentally, blue also corresponds to the throat chakra, which also means “Are you saying what you want to say?” It was the perfect message for her right now.
Time to untangle emotions
In the session, we went deeper, carefully picking up the words inside her.
“What kind of fears do you have?”
“Is that true?”
“If you actually said it, what kind of reaction do you think there would be?”
As if the tangled threads of her heart
were slowly being untangled.
Because the answers are always within yourself.
Yuko’s impressions
It was a little scary to be shown my own weaknesses and true feelings that I didn’t want to see... but the cards are honest, and because Macha-san faced me with such sincerity, I, a coward, was given courage! It was a series of surprises and emotions, and I felt I could live honestly with myself every day. Knowing that such a world exists, I was captivated by the cards, wanted to know more deeply, and decided to follow in Macha-san’s footsteps. I want to be able to conduct sessions soon that give courage to many other “cowards” too!
What I felt through the session
When you shine a light on your "true feelings" within,
it can be a little scary,
but it is also a very precious moment.
As Tomomi-san gathered the courage to open the door to her heart, her true "radiance" began to overflow from within.
Being able to witness the moment a person changes—
that is the greatest joy
of a Synchronicity Card session.
Finally
Synchronicity cards are a mirror that reflects the "true voice" within you.
When your heart is wavering, or when you want to take a step forward,
they quietly reveal the answer that lies within you.
Whether you are timid or a hard worker, it is okay.
