I don't mind being called a doting, perverted old man!
I really do love Riku!
His eyes.
His expressions.
Every single gesture.
The way he walks from behind, the way he sits with his legs to the side, and so on.
And his scent.
I can even forgive the occasional fart. lol
If anything, it makes me smile as proof that he's alive.
Since we're the same gender, I don't have to worry about Mom's jealousy.
Whether I kiss him,
play around with him,
or hug him, I don't have to worry about a thing.
The world of just the two of us on our walks is also exceptional.
We decide which path to take together.
He's learned how to cross the street.
He knows the usual corners by heart.

Four years old. That's thirty-three in human years.
He burns through life seven times faster than a human.
Recently, I've started to notice one or two white hairs.
Please live a long life.
I intend to live for another full cycle of the Chinese zodiac.
Until then, let's say good morning to each other every day.
