Mom is being discharged from the hospital today 💖

They must be observing my expressions closely.
Knowing that today is the day Mom comes home from the hospital must be making my face and the atmosphere feel more relaxed.
Both Riku and Luna have been high-spirited since early this morning.

The walk that Riku was begging for so intensely since last night is already finished.
Breakfast is also done.

Luna also managed to pee on her pet sheet today. I told her she was a good girl! A good girl! and petted her head and face with both hands to my heart's content.
She tends to stay tucked away in her favorite cushion, but today she jumped out and came to snuggle at my feet.

Our family needs to be all together and smiling.
How important it is to be able to spend ordinary, healthy days...
My thoughts always end up coming back to this.
