The reason I started point-earning activities was because there was a time when I couldn't face people due to mental illness...
What are your thoughts on mental illness?
I myself suffered from autonomic ataxia in the past, and there was a period of several years where my world changed. 🥲
At first, there were times when I would get intense heart palpitations in noisy places or when facing people, to the point where I felt so distressed I couldn't stand, and I was even taken away in an ambulance.
However, the hospital said there was no known cause and nothing wrong with my body. After being diagnosed like that, I continued to suffer from symptoms like heart palpitations whenever I felt anxious for over a year without knowing the cause.
Since there were no abnormalities with my heart or other organs, I decided to try visiting a psychiatrist. The diagnosis was autonomic ataxia and mild depression. I was surprised, but at the same time, I felt relieved to finally know the cause. 🥲
What I thought after becoming mentally ill was that ordinary people would never be able to understand this suffering. It wasn't until I experienced it myself that I realized how painful mental illness is.
That is precisely why I want to tell those who are suffering just like I was, 'I understand how you feel, so please don't be anxious, you have someone who understands you, so rest assured.' And if someone close to you is suffering from mental illness, please just be by their side to make them feel safe and be a good person who understands them.
In my case, the cause of the attacks was intense anxiety, so I really struggled with noisy crowds and lived a life of seclusion for a while.
At that time, I couldn't work, but I still wanted to save money or earn a little, and I didn't want to be a burden to my family.
With those feelings, I started point-earning activities that I could do at the time. Even though it was a really small amount, when I was able to exchange them for gift certificates for the first time, I thought, 'Huh? Amazing! I really saved up points and exchanged them for a gift certificate!!'
I was a little moved. lol
Some people in the world might say, 'You worked this hard for just this much?' but for me, it was a truly big moment of being moved. 😊
My physical condition has improved a lot now, and I can go outside, so please don't worry about that! lol
I think the reasons are different for everyone, and values vary from person to person, but I'm sure there are many people out there who are working hard and finding joy just like I am.
I really like all of you who can empathize with that, and I hope my experience can be of some help to everyone.
I haven't been on note for long, but I wanted to share some of my thoughts. 😊
I want us all to be happy. 😚 lol
No, let's definitely be happy!! lol
