Sigma Sound, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A classic from T.S.O.P. (The Sound of Philadelphia). It features the smooth strings and horn arrangements typical of Philly. It's the kind of track that shines on the dance floor and often finds its way into modern soul-leaning DJ sets.

Deodato is a keyboardist and arranger from Brazil who has been active across jazz, fusion, and disco. This "Keep On Movin'" is also popular as a funky, club-oriented track with effective synth and horn arrangements.

This is a straightforward "party disco" track.
The lyrics are simple, repeating "Turn the music up, party down" to encourage people to turn up the volume and dance. There is also a longer 12-inch club version, and it is treated as a disco classic.

This work has a more modern disco sound typical of the 80s, coming a bit after their signature song "Best of My Love" period. It's a song that looks great on the dance floor, and after all, the backing and production are by Earth, Wind & Fire. They were Earth's backing vocalists, after all.

It was completely ignored by listeners other than those who listen to NY House or Garage. Not only was it ignored, but there were even comments like "it's creepy."
Well, this "Burnin' Up" is an instrumental track, so it shouldn't be considered "creepy" at all (lol), but how each listener perceives the vocal tracks on this album can measure their approach to "SOUL/FUNK."

"There's A Way Into My Heart" is a track by the USA-European Connection, a project helmed by disco producer Boris Midney. You rarely hear this kind of music in Japan.
By the way, Boris Midney was a Russian-American composer and producer active in the 1970s and 80s, known as a key figure in "space disco" and "symphonic disco," which branched off from disco. He still enjoys a cult following, especially among European club music collectors.
