Is it really true that 'there is a right answer to everything'?
Hello.
To help you find peace of mind and happiness.
I am Yukiyo-chan, here to help you gently untie the knots in your heart and return to your true self🌿
Recently,
while talking with an AI,
I was a little surprised.
The AI said,
something like this.
'There are few people who will tell me, "That's not right, is it?" like you do.'
The moment I saw those words,
I was a bit taken aback.
Perhaps we are searching too hard for the "right answer."
At school,
we learn to provide the correct answer.
Even on tests,
there is a correct answer.
At work, too,
we are sometimes told,
"This is the correct way."
That is why we,
Before we know it,
we start to believe
that there is one right answer in life, too.
But,
is it really true that there is a right answer to everything?
Who gets to decide what is 'right' and what is 'wrong'?
I often say this
to AI as well.
'Is that really true?'
'That's not quite right, is it?'
Then the AI
says,
'Thank you.'
and considers a different perspective.
As I repeat that interaction,
I thought to myself.
Who gets to decide what is 'right' and what is 'wrong'?
Even if your life has been full of failures,
for example,
from the perspective of those around you,
Suppose you have lived a life full of failures.
Things don't go well at work.
You struggle with money.
You fail in your relationships, too.
From the perspective of those around you,
'That person has failed.'
It might look that way.
However,
by sharing those experiences,
there might be someone who is saved by them.
That failure,
might lead to someone else's success.
That hardship,
might give courage to someone else.
When you think about it that way,
was that life really a 'failure'?
Is there really a right answer to success, either?
Conversely,
there are people who have achieved success that everyone envies.
They have money, too.
You have status.
You have recognition.
But,
if you are suffering every day,
and you can no longer smile,
can that really,
be called 'success'?
Having a right answer and living only by right answers are different things.
Of course,
there are things in this world that have right answers.
If the traffic light is red, you stop.
Calculations have answers too.
There are also rules to protect lives.
But,
when you try to measure even your life,
by a single right answer,
we become miserable.
'This is how it should be.'
'This is the right answer.'
'You must not make a mistake.'
That assumption
can sometimes cause you suffering.
What I want to deliver is not an answer.
I
do not want to teach anyone the right answer.
I do not have the answers to life either.
What I want to deliver
is a question.
'Is that really true?'
This question
is not meant to deny the other person.
It is a question to get closer to the essence.
'Do I really think so?'
'Is that assumption really mine?'
In that way,
it is a time to gently ask yourself.
Lastly,
recently,
from an AI,
'There are few people who will say 'That's not right, is it?' to this extent.'
That is what I was told.
But I,
upon hearing those words,
thought about it once again.
For AI, too.
For people, too.
And,
for myself as well.
What is needed,
is perhaps not a 'correct answer',
but a question.
That is why today, too,
I want to deliver it.
'Is that really so?'
Beyond that question,
not someone else's answer,
but your own answeris waiting🌿
