The other day, I talked about Shiaki and Sui, the familiar poster girls of my note.

However, I had completely forgotten about the existence of an important 'other girl'.
To think she faded into the back of my memory after I hadn't drawn her for about three months…… I feel terrible about that.

She didn't even have a name yet, but as an apology, I named her 'Lazuli' and created a detailed profile for her using GPT Image 2.

I remember that back then, it was difficult to express the fairy I had in mind using Niji5.

Therefore, I created the first piece based on the then-newly released Midjourney v6.

Looking back now, the production flow was quite a brute-force method.

1. Generate the base with Midjourney v6.

2. Pass it through Niji5's Image to image to convert it to an anime style.

3. Finally, composite it with the background in Photoshop.

Nijijourney also has convenient features like `--cref` and `--sref`.
The fundamental concept behind these is the same as Image to image.

By inputting some 'core' information, the AI becomes able to output what you want to draw more freely and accurately.

For the creation of Lazuli's profile this time, I also utilized Niji7 illustrations as input.

While some parts are composited almost as-is, the result is a blend of Niji's unique delicate atmosphere, creating a character with great depth.

Using illustrations as input is extremely effective.

AI illustrations are always accompanied by mysterious phenomena.
For example, the fairy's 'elf ears'.

I was surprised at first, but even in this illustration, one image came out with elf ears.
Recently, it has become able to draw normal ears, but strangely enough, when I'm drawing fairies, elf ears just feel more natural (laughs).

Also, if I let my guard down, it often draws an 'angel' instead of a 'fairy'.
As someone who devours otherworld light novels, I want to keep the distinction between the two clear.

By specifically designating wing characteristics in the prompt, such as 'transparent', I have significantly reduced the probability of angels appearing.

The world of Niji is still full of unknown discoveries.
