#89 Second YouTube Analysis
Good evening, everyone!
In the 50 days since I started YouTube, I've uploaded 12 videos and 6 shorts!
And finally, with my 12th video, I was able to reach over 1,000 views!
First, let's take a look at the analytics!

Compared to my previous first YouTube analysis on day 26:
・Views: 1,246 -> 6,000 (482% increase)
・Likes: 58 -> 141 (243% increase)
Since then, the two things I've been conscious of are improving video quality through editing and increasing the click-through rate (CTR) of my thumbnails.
My latest work at the time was...
[Must-see for men in their 40s!] Skincare Practice
Impressions: 6,462, CTR: 1.2%, Views: 105

Compared to that, the CTR of the videos I released afterward increased each time.
[Improve cleanliness with uncle makeup [Men's makeup for 40s and up]]
Impressions: 26,755, CTR: 1.5%, Views: 578

First, I created an opening movie to add a sense of speed and keep viewers from getting bored. For the thumbnail, I placed a 'pathetic' look next to a 'cool' look (lol) to create a stark before-and-after contrast.
I might have made a slight mistake with the thumbnail text color, but the CTR increased slightly by 0.3%. The subject matter was good, the content was easy for YouTube's recommendations (impressions) to pick up, and the browse features worked quite well!
[One-take] Marigold / Aimyon - Guitar cover
Impressions: 13,448, CTR: 1.7%, Views: 297

The effect of uncle makeup is incredible [Must-see for men 40 and up!]
Impressions: 18,939, CTR: 2.4%, Views: 533

I was able to test with my previous uncle makeup video that the men's makeup genre is easily given impressions, so I thought that as long as the CTR was high, the views would grow. The results were exactly as expected, and I'm satisfied with the test results.
Grooming my eyebrows was the best! [Must-see for men 40 and up!]
Impressions: 9,605, CTR: 2.8%, Views: 310

When I released the AGA treatment video before, my subscriber count grew the most, so I made this one with the target audience in mind. I didn't get that many impressions, but I was able to cover that with the CTR, so this video also earned over 300 views. My subscriber count also grew more than with the makeup videos, so I thought I would make videos targeting that demographic next time.
[AGA Treatment] The immense effect you can see visually!!
Impressions: 20,286, CTR: 4.7%, Views: 1,091

I was absolutely sure that the browse features would work for an AGA treatment video, so the only question was how to increase the CTR. I was convinced that if I could line up flip charts to show the change visually and make the thumbnail text stand out, the CTR would definitely go up, so I created it with that confidence.
When I first uploaded it, the browse features didn't work at all. I thought, 'Huh? Did YouTube abandon me for a moment because there was a gap in my upload schedule?' But from the second day on, it grew amazingly! It has been growing in views ever since I woke up this morning, and at this stage, it has exceeded 1,000 views, making it my biggest buzz so far (lol).
I think the factor is definitely the high CTR.
This time, I hit an incredible CTR of 4.7%, which is a 1.9% increase compared to the last one. Honestly, I thought the content was just okay, but it's a big deal for me that I was able to successfully execute the parts I wanted to improve in this video. My subscriber count also increased by 8, from 27 to 35!
Since the improvement in thumbnail CTR resulted in a large average increase in views, I want to continue to be most conscious of this part in the future.
Another issue that must be improved by the next third YouTube analysis is the audience retention rate.
The higher this audience retention rate is, the more YouTube recognizes it as a good video, which increases the impression rate. Since the content of my videos is still far from perfect, I will be focusing on improving the content over the next month.

AGA treatment and changes in appearance are often viewed by middle-aged men, while makeup videos reach a broad range from young to middle-aged people with a fairly even gender ratio. I think I may need to change the structure depending on the type of video I create.

Thank you for reading this far!
As a record for myself, I would like to keep a record of my YouTube analysis and improvements about once a month like this.
It might provide insights for me when I look back, and it might also be helpful for those who are just starting out on YouTube, so I want to continue outputting regularly on note.
With that said, that was the second YouTube analysis note!
