【The Moment I Felt It Was My Calling】 Human Resources and Labor Management is a Job Where Every Aspect of a Practitioner's Life Experience Proves Useful 【My Work】

Many people in society work for various reasons, such as “for money / for self-expression,” but many are troubled by whether they are in the right job for them.

However, thankfully, I can say that my calling is my current job as a “Human Resources and Labor Management Consultant.”

This is because human resources and labor management is a job where all of my life experiences work to my advantage and connect to my work.

My childhood was not exactly something I could call wonderful, but I have often used those experiences as material to bond with company presidents or to support business operations.

I have written the following to give readers peace of mind that even if you have lived a life like this, you can eventually find your calling.

1. I was sickly during my student days, repeating hospitalizations and surgeries almost every year from elementary through junior high school, and during high school and college, I lived a life centered on hobbies without thinking deeply about the future. 2. In my early 20s, I joined a retail company without giving much thought to my future plans, and although I achieved a fair amount of success, I
resigned due to poor health. 3. Later, in my late 20s, I spent fulfilling days as the head of a cram school I had moved to, but
inspired by the sincere attitude of my students toward their future, I thought deeply about my own future for the first time and took action to pursue a career in human resources and labor management.

As for the specific actions I took after that,

① After entering my thirties, I studied for a national qualification, and it took me three years to finally obtain a qualification that could be earned in as little as six months. ② I worked at a human resources and labor management office where I could utilize the qualification, then resigned. I maintained the connections I made during my employment even after starting my own business. ③ I started my own business, leading to the present.

As you can see, it took nearly ten years of preparation before I could go independent, but conversely, I was able to find a job that I consider (and am convinced is) my calling in that amount of time. Therefore, for those reading this article who are not satisfied with their current daily lives, I believe there is a high possibility that you will eventually reach such a calling by having a clear sense of purpose and taking action.

In any case, first of all,

① Thoroughly review your current situation (Present), ② Embody the work you truly want to do (Future), ③ Create a path to reach ② (From present to future).

It is important to take these actions.

Even for those who have some (vague) dissatisfaction or anxiety about their current situation, I think many people do nothing because of the psychology of being 'a little scared' when they think about taking action to change it.

However, that 'psychology of being a little scared' is often

created by one's own imagination and images because one has not taken any action.

That is often the case.

But when you actually take action, you will find that in many cases, your concerns do not become major obstacles and are naturally resolved.

The interesting thing about the world is that things don't always go as you expect (though it can be scary too...), so I think it's a good idea to start by taking some kind of action.

It is said that the time spent working in one's life is around 30% of the total. of the total.

Since you are spending (or have to spend) about one-third of your time on it, you want to have a job that you can engage in as happily and lightheartedly as possible, don't you?
