Santa's Gift is an Antiquarian Book

I forget where I saw or heard it, but there is a story that people born in December receive fewer gifts than others because their Christmas presents and New Year's money are combined.
I was born in December, but I normally received my Christmas present (birthday present) and New Year's money separately.
A friend born in December said the same thing, so I think that being combined into one is quite harsh and probably didn't happen.
This is just my own personal research, though...

I never received two gifts, one for my birthday and one for Christmas.
Well, I have a clearer reason than others for not being able to receive two.
I have never once thought that I was losing out because of that.
Because the greatest joy is simply receiving a gift.

I have grown into a proper adult and have long since stopped receiving gifts from Santa.
I'm not a child anymore, so that's only natural, right?
I believe Santa exists somewhere, but it seems he doesn't come to me.

So, this year I decided to buy a gift for myself.
Naturally, it's a book, and an antiquarian one at that!!
I ordered the antiquarian book I was searching for yesterday on the Japanese used bookstore site this afternoon.
When I checked just now, it seems it is no longer displayed on the site.
It appears the information was deleted because I purchased it.
If all goes well, it will arrive the day after tomorrow.
I'm so happy, I'm so happy!!!
I finally ordered the antiquarian book I had wanted to buy for a long time. It's been a long wait.
What was I planning to do if I couldn't get it anymore, when I had left it alone despite it being an antiquarian book at a price I could afford at any time?
I think it was good that I made a big decision this time.
