Stories in My Dreams (It's Just A Dream)
I often have dreams.
It means my sleep is light, but I get excited thinking, "What kind of world is waiting for me today?", especially when I want to escape from reality.
In my dreams, I might be in a time or place I know nothing about, or fragments of what happened or what I thought about that day might be reflected. In the latter case, it's not always something pleasant. At those times, it feels like a nightmare has come back to life, and I feel like I've wasted my sleep.
It's not déjà vu, but scenes I've seen somewhere before also appear in my dreams repeatedly.
For example, a cityscape somewhere in Europe. I feel like I've seen this before, I think, but I don't know where it is.
Then the scene changes, and I am circling in the sky, aiming for the skyscrapers of New York.
When I have dreams like that, my imagination even runs wild, thinking, "Maybe in a past life, I was an immigrant who headed from Europe to America", haha.
And in other dreams, completely unrelated stories begin.
It is set on North Sentinel Island, an uncharted land floating in the Indian Ocean. The inhabitants here are an isolated tribe that refuses contact with the outside world and lives a primitive life. The estimated population is said to be anywhere from a few dozen to 400, but the reality is unknown.

In fact, missionaries and adventurers who try to enter this island are shot with bows and arrows by the tribe and killed. It is a place that is treated as a taboo by modern society as "The forbidden land". For some reason, in my dreams, stories from their perspective are depicted.
Securing food through hunting and fishing, living a self-sufficient life by making fire, and attacking outsiders without mercy—even what we perceive as "savage" can contain a sense of unity and justice to protect themselves.
They have heroes, they have love, and drama exists (in my dreams).
It seems they appeared in my dreams because of the thought, "What if I had been born in a place like that" in this day and age.
It is a famous story that Paul McCartney composed the masterpiece "Yesterday" in a dream.
How wonderful it would be if the stories in my dreams were turned into books or movies someday.
Oh, maybe I'm already in a dream, haha.
Good night.
