[138] Why I chose note out of all the blog sites

"Maybe I should start a blog for my new life."

To you who are thinking that.

"But then again, where should I create an account..."

To you who are worried about that.

How about note?

Oh, please rest assured, I am not a salesperson for note.
I may have an official-looking header, but I am just a regular user.

I absolutely love the platform called note.
I even recommended it to my workplace.
Because of that, I am now involved in managing my workplace's official note account.

I've only been using it for a little over a year, but I feel that it suits me in many ways.
Today, I'd like to talk a bit about that.

First, a disclaimer:I am by no means an SNS expert.Besides note, the only things I use daily are LINE (is that even SNS?) and X (formerly Twitter).
I have accounts for Facebook, Instagram, and mixi2, but I barely use them. As for Bluesky, I was invited, but I haven't even posted a single tweet.

Well, given my job in public relations, I suppose I am reasonably familiar with the features and functions of each tool.

Now, that was a long introduction, but

The reasons why I chose note out of all the blog sites.
I'll list five of them.

1. No ads (wonderful)

First and foremost, this is it.
I hate ads (pop-ups) that jump out from the top, sides, bottom, or middle of web articles.
I want to focus on the article, but the moment I press the "Next Page" button, it turns into an ad screen, and I find myself frantically searching the screen for the "Close" button, getting frustrated and thinking, "Argh! Where is the Close button!" Why are those [Close] or [x] buttons so thin?
Even if you set your app to "block pop-up ads," the difficulty in reading the article isn't completely resolved.
note doesn't have that frustration.I think note is truly wonderful because you can focus on the articles. Yes, I am not a salesperson for note.

2. The means of monetization is standard from a creator's perspective

I'm not denying the business style of affiliate marketing, though...
But the ideal for a creator is to compete with their own writing or artistic ability and get paid for it. Yes, I'm being idealistic.
But that is the basic revenue structure of note. I resonate with the concept of receiving a "tip" for one's craft.

3. Editing is easy

You can edit intuitively, so it's easy for beginners to use. Simple is best.
I think it's especially suited for "writers."
Of course, posting images is also easy, so you can use it as a portfolio for illustrations or photo works.

4. Diverse community

There are official notes from companies, organizations, and celebrities, as well as youth diaries from high school writers, and everything from entertainment-focused blogs like gaming or drawing blogs to serious professional discussions and international politics. It's easy to find a community that suits you, and the ease of connecting with them is excellent.
I feel like there are more people who want to write "as text" and read here than on other blog sites. I also get the impression that relatively fewer people use emojis. That's why, even if it becomes a long piece, I can keep writing, thinking, "They'll surely read this without minding..." Lately, it just naturally exceeds 2,000 characters...

5. Abundant projects for creators

Occasionally, campaigns (some with prize money) where "themes" are presented by companies or the official note team stimulate the creator's soul. Whether you are a professional or an amateur, anyone can apply through note. Some campaigns are even from publishers looking toward commercial publication.note Creative Awards is starting soon, isn't it? I might have thought, or maybe I didn't, that I'd like to try challenging it someday...

Those are the 5 points.
I'm not very familiar with other blog sites, so I might be saying something nonsensical.
In short, I like note so much that I have no interest in other blog sites. Is that too much praise? Hey, note official, it's okay to give me a "like," you know? (Though I might get scolded for my confusing header)

I also read articles by other creators. Recently, note articles have been showing up quite a bit in search results, too. It feels like the platform is really growing.

Now, why don't you try using note, too!
