I visited Kyocera Dome Osaka, Resonac Dome Oita, and Kumamoto Castle
November 2025.
Over the course of three days, I visited Kyocera Dome Osaka, Resonac Dome Oita, and Kumamoto Castle.
My goal was not just to tour giant structures.
The first day at Kyocera Dome Osaka was to attend Ado's dome tour 'Yodaka,' the second day at Resonac Dome Oita was to support JEF United Ichihara Chiba (JEF Chiba) in their away game, and the third day at Kumamoto Castle was a reward for my son, who accompanied me on my hobby.
Normally, this is enough volume to be split into three separate notes, and I have combined these disparate contents into one.
I have included a table of contents, so please feel free to skip ahead and read only the parts that interest you.
Furthermore, I would like to express my sympathies to everyone affected by the fire in Saganoseki, as well as to everyone in Kumamoto and Oita prefectures who experienced earthquakes with intensities of 5-plus and 5-minus, and I pray for a speedy recovery.

Ado Dome Tour 'Yodaka'
Ado, who completed her world tour 'Hibana' from this spring to this summer, held a dome tour titled 'Yodaka' in November, consisting of four performances: two days at Tokyo Dome and two days at Kyocera Dome Osaka.
I attended the first day of the two-day run at Kyocera Dome Osaka.

The opening was intense, starting right off with "Odo" and "Show" back-to-back, making me think, 'Wow, they're really going for it.'
It was a pretty great setlist that included the latest songs like "MAGIC" and "Kaze to Watashi no Monogatari," as well as the unreleased new song "Aiaiai," followed by an encore that built up excitement with "FREEDOM," "Kitto Coaster," and "Watashi ni Hanataba," before closing with "Kokoro to Iu Na no Fukakai."
("Kokoro to Iu Na no Fukakai," which was also the theme song for the national stadium concert 'Shinzou,' really is a special song for Ado, isn't it?)
I was very satisfied with Ado's performance, but the only slight disappointment was that my seat was in the very back row of the lower stand, so I couldn't fully experience the live atmosphere of being surrounded by cheers 360 degrees.
MC
The MC for this concert became a hot topic, even being picked up in today's news on X.
There seemed to be some voices saying the 'MC was too dark and too long,' but those attending an Ado concert for the first time might have been surprised.

Ado herself has long declared that she is an "introvert," and there have been times in the past when her MC segments were dark or felt a bit too tense.
In addition, she mentioned during the MC that "I usually prepare a script for the MC, but this time I didn't," which likely contributed to some parts feeling disorganized and drawn out.
らしさを大事にするということは良いかもしれませんが、ただそれがちゃんと自己満じゃなくて他の人から見ても形になっていないと意味がないですね。…

Changes in state of mind and inner conflict
This MC felt a bit different from the ones during last year's arena tour or the concert at the National Stadium.
In last year's concert MCs, she seemed very tense, putting her love for Vocaloid and her determination to "spread the Japanese culture of Vocaloid and singers to the world" at the forefront.
Regarding that, Ado confessed during this MC that she had felt the pressure of "having to become a respectable person worthy of being loved by everyone," and spoke about changes in her state of mind, saying, "I wonder if it's okay to show more of my true self," "I wanted to talk about things I haven't told everyone before," and "Instead of looking away from the self I hate so much, I want to accept that version of myself too."
Hearing just this, one might think it's a positive change in mindset, but on the other hand, she also spoke about her past struggles.
The discomfort of having been active under the name Ado with the idea of "wanting to be a supporting role that adds color to someone's life," only to find herself treated as the lead role before she knew it.
The gap between the Ado loved by everyone and the self she hates.
The dilemma of loving Vocaloid and singer culture, yet being seen as "no longer a 'singer'" because the existence of Ado has become too large.
Having become such a massive presence in just over five years since her debut at 17, I got the impression that she might be experiencing an identity crisis.
(This is not an analysis as a psychiatrist, but my impressions as a fan.)
Why did Ado become an "introvert"?
Her childhood, where she admired Disney princesses and threw tantrums insisting on wearing princess-like clothes.
Her parents, who gave her a singer starter kit.
Friends she has known since before her debut, who go to Kura Sushi and karaoke with her, and come over to her house to watch K-pop music videos together.
Given that there are so many positive elements in what she fragmentarily shares in interviews and streams, why did she become an "introvert" with low self-esteem who "hates herself"?
That has been a question I've held ever since I became an Ado fan.
The answer likely lies in the "things she hasn't told everyone before."
As a fan, I want to know what she will talk about from here on, but I also feel a bit afraid to know.
I went to Resonac Dome Oita
J2 League final stretch
The 2025 J2 League season has reached its final stretch.
As of the end of the 36th round, JEF United Chiba is in 4th place, with a chance for automatic promotion to J1 and winning the J2 title.
To support the team during this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I traveled to the away game against Oita in the 37th round.
I flew from Osaka Itami Airport to Oita Airport early in the morning.
I thought, "There's no way other JEF supporters would be at Itami," but they were there.
Furthermore, I took the hovercraft from Oita Airport, and the boat was full of JEF supporters who had arrived from Haneda.
JEF supporters are amazing.

Resonac Dome Oita

I entered Resonac Dome Oita, first made a donation for the Saganoseki fire relief, and then headed to the stands.
I am cheering from the main stand near the visitor section.

While waiting for the match, I enjoyed some Neetan dorayaki, and then two guest live performances began.
I was surprised by Clara, who appeared second.

With singing ability and visuals that you wouldn't expect from a 14-year-old, I felt like, 'Who is this amazing girl???'
(After searching later, I found out she is a musician and model from Oita Prefecture affiliated with Amuse.)
1-0 victory
The match ended in a 1-0 victory thanks to Kono's goal!
It kept our hopes alive for automatic promotion to J1 and winning the J2 title on the final matchday.

With this, my personal away record for this season is 3 wins and 1 loss.
Moreover, they were all thrilling matches that ended with a 1-0 score.
While I would like to see a high-scoring game, it is more important to secure a solid win away from home.
I went to Kumamoto Castle
After the Oita match, I stayed at an inn in Yufuin, and the next morning, I drove to Kumamoto in a rental car.
…It was far.
I had misjudged the distances in Kyushu.
Exhausted, I finally arrived at Kumamoto Castle.

Scars from the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake remained all over the castle grounds, and it seemed like it would still take quite some time for the restoration work to be completed.

I had an Akaushi beef bowl at Kumamoto Airport before returning to Chiba, concluding my three-day trip.
The news that broke the very next day was that a magnitude 5+ earthquake had occurred in Kumamoto.
I never imagined that another major earthquake would occur right after I had seen the scars of the disaster at Kumamoto Castle.
Heading into the final match against Imabari
Well, this weekend is the final match of the J2 League against Imabari.
Goya, who was suspended for the Oita match, is returning, and Yonekura also seems to have a fire burning in his heart.
I'm sure he will perform well.
By the way, it was announced that this match will be broadcast live on Chiba TV, and that CUO Hayato Sato and Yuho Aoki (from Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora) will be appearing.

The Asai Healthcare Group will be participating as a program sponsor for this live broadcast!
We decided to sponsor it because we wanted to help deliver the excitement to all the JEF supporters who cannot make it to Fukuda Denshi Arena.
Also, it was announced that Mina-chan will be making another appearance.
I am overwhelmed with emotion that this will be her second appearance this season since the Asai Healthcare Group Match Day on August 2nd.
I have already scrolled through the joyful posts from JEF supporters many times.
