Steady Progress on Urawa's New Symbol (Site Visit Part 7)

The 7th installment of the site visit series is the construction site of a high-rise mixed-use residential complex that is steadily being built right near the west exit of JR Urawa Station, and which will become Urawa's new symbol (as I like to call it).
It is located less than a 5-minute walk from the west exit of Urawa Station.
The project name is 'New Construction Work for Facility Buildings Associated with the Urawa Station West Exit Minami-Takasago District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project'.
It is a single building with 27 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, constructed of reinforced concrete, steel, and partially steel-reinforced concrete. With a total floor area of 97,886 square meters, it will be a very large-scale facility.
The Urawa Station West Exit Minami-Takasago District Urban Redevelopment Association is proceeding with construction, with a joint venture consisting of Maeda Corporation, Saito Kogyo, and Takara Leben handling construction, and Yasui Architects & Engineers and Maeda Corporation handling the design.
As for the progress of the construction, I don't know the exact figures, but maybe around 60%?
Its exterior is already starting to take shape.
By the way, the property name has also been decided: 'URAWA THE TOWER'.
In addition to Nomura Real Estate Development, Mitsubishi Jisho Residence and Daiwa House Industry are listed as sellers.
The official website for the property states, 'Aiming to be a tower that 'crowns' the future. Creating a residence that Urawa, the people who live there, and the era can be 'proud' of,' so it seems the intention is to make this facility a symbol (the face) of the area around Urawa Station.
According to the plan, construction is expected to be completed by the end of June next year.
I hope that this tower residence, which will become the new face of Urawa, will lead to the revitalization of the area around Urawa Station and, by extension, the entire prefecture!!
