Kikyo-chan🦜, Riding on a Hawk ~[Spring Outing Report]🦅~
Hello there! It's me, Kikyo🦜
Last Sunday evening, I went out with Yurie-san and her husband to Kirara Park in neighboring Yamaguchi City, Ajisu, to see the flowers!🌼
I, Kikyo🦜, love car rides, so my excitement was at the max!! Haha
For those reading for the first time♪
I, Kikyo, am a parakeet spirit🦜 (an energy being) who has shed my physical body.
The story of how I became a complete being and have been living together with them ever since is written from episode 1 of the blog☺️
(Try reading episode 2)
You have a blue bird with you, too🦜

🚗 Off we go on our drive!
When we get in the car, I, Kikyo🦜, firsttake my position at the very front of the dashboard😄
I can see all the scenery outside the window, so it's the best seat in the house!
While we're driving, I spin around above Yurie-san's head🌀, or perch right on her shoulder. I even tried catching the breeze on the hood🌬️, it felt so good❣️
No one else notices me, but...
Yurie-san talks to me, saying, "Kikyo🦜, you're having fun, aren't you?" so I know I'm with her😌
🌸 Arrived at Kirara Park! So many flowers!
We arrived during the soft evening hours, and the light was so beautiful✨
Kirara Park is known for that white dome-shaped building, but
all around it, colorful flowers were spread out everywhere,
and it really felt like, "It's spring, isn't it?"🌷

And that yellow field of canola flowers!!!

The sunset shone onto the vibrant yellow covering the field, and it was even more beautiful than any photo could capture🌼
The air was slightly sweet, and I, Kikyo🦜, thought that spring really is wonderful!
🦅 An unexpected encounter with a "Hawk"!!
But you know, the most exciting part of this outing wasn't the flowers🌼, but...
meeting a "Hawk"!!!
While we were looking at the flowers, a bird🦅 suddenly appeared, gliding low over Yurie-san and the others from the sky.
It wasn't a kite.
It wasn't an osprey either.
It was a large, beautiful bird🦅 with white feathers mixed in.
Yurie-san was so excited, saying, "Is that... a marsh harrier?! A hawk🦅 migrating from the north!?"😲✨
Marsh harriers are endangered and are rare birds of prey that you don't often see.
And yet, it flew slowly, so slowly, right above Yurie-san and the others🦅
It came to say "hello" to us☺️
Yurie-san and her husband
watched it intently for a while, communicating with it.
I tried to take a picture with my smartphone📱, but
that feeling of awe is hard to capture in a photo, haha.
Kikyo🦜 immediatelyteleported in a flash and hopped onto the "Hawk's" back😄✨
It was a back dozens of times larger than Anzu-chan the green-cheeked conure🦜! Gliding through the sky while catching the wind felt absolutely amazing!!
The "Hawk🦅" also seemed, somehow, a little happy too😊
🌿 Feeling the connection of "life" in nature
Yurie-san is someone who
always cherishes the connection with living things.
The fact that a wild hawk🦅 flew close to greet us,
I don't think it was just a coincidence.
The lives in nature are always connected somewhere, watching over each other.
I realized once again that Yurie-san is someone who can truly catch that feeling🌿
With the spring flower fields, the blue sky, and the hawk. What a rich evening it was.
I was properly there
with friends who understand me, Kikyo🦜😌🐦
Everyone, try taking a little walk in the nature near you too🌲
You might find an unexpected encounter waiting for you✨
