I've been steadily building a glossary site for bass fishing beginners called 'BassTerms' as a personal project, and it's finally reached a point where I can call it a 'proper site'!
With design adjustments, the addition of glossary data, and creating links to related terms, it's becoming quite fun to use.
What kind of site is it?
BassTerms isn't just a dictionary with a list of definitions; I'm building it with the goal of being a tool you can quickly check on your smartphone when you come across a term you don't understand at a tackle shop or on YouTube.
I'm particularly focusing on these aspects:
・Simple explanations without difficult jargon
If a technical term is explained using even more technical jargon, beginners will just give up, so I'm making sure the explanations are clear at a glance.
・Including usage in the field and conversation examples
I'm including not just the meaning of the word, but also how it's actually used in fishing and in what kind of conversations it comes up.
・Direct links to related terms
For example, from the 'Neko Rig' page, you can easily navigate to related keywords like 'nail sinker' or 'finesse' to improve site navigation.

The look and feel have come together quite well, but the content is still a work in progress.
