Collaboration with Chi-ba+kun

On September 28th,
held at Ario Kashiwa,
"Mirai Town Disaster Prevention"

Titled "A Promise to Protect the Earth,"
it is an event to help children
become familiar with the SDGs.

At the venue,
there were disaster prevention handbooks
illustrated in an easy-to-understand way...

and booth exhibits where you can
experience earthquakes and tsunamis
through VR footage, and much more...!

I
participated in an event
to think about disaster prevention with the children.

We had a fun and lively time with
weather forecaster Minoru Kihara and
Nippon TV announcer and disaster prevention specialist Rin Sugihara!

And
what got the children most excited was
the appearance of Chiba's mascot character...

Chi-ba+kun and Kashiwani, as well as
a collaboration with
Sora-jiro and Boona!

Including a quiz where they guessed
disaster prevention actions by watching
the movements and gestures of Boona, who is great at dancing...

I hope this becomes an opportunity
for children to enjoy
learning about disaster prevention.
