I restarted X with a new focus, but I find myself wanting to avoid becoming like this
It has become a habit of mine to check the 'For You' feed on X, and since I post about work styles, posts related to that topic frequently appear.
Among them, there are many people who post with the goal of monetization or increasing impressions rather than just sharing diary entries or personal musings, and it seems those posts follow a certain 'template'.
For example, posts that stir up anxiety or discomfort by writing about specific cases, like 'Have you ever had this frustrating experience? Isn't it awful? To avoid this...' Or simply posts that sound preachy.
I suppose that approach is more effective at getting engagement. After all, it is reaching my feed. But every time I see it, I think, 'I don't like this.' Even if that means my posts won't reach many people unless I write that way.
At the same time, when I talk about my own experiences, I sometimes worry about whether I sound preachy. I have a tendency to do that! Even when I write novels, I actually do it. So, as a countermeasure, I try to write my novels in the first person. (I am confident that if I used a third-person omniscient perspective, I would definitely end up preaching.)
I want to be someone who can convey what I want to say in a softer way. But just talking to myself is meaningless; I want to be able to reach the people who actually need it. Maybe I should look for people who are already doing that successfully?
There are probably people who look at my posts and think, 'That won't resonate with anyone,' but I want to believe in the world I want to live in, let go of the assumption that 'it's meaningless unless it's done this way,' and keep doing what I want to do. I'll do my best.

It was decorated cutely for an art event.
