I Decided on a Posting Routine for note | Nichihen Lab
Hello!
This is the Lab Chief of the membership "Nichihen Lab".
To all lab members, are you enjoying your experiments at a relaxed pace?
If you are just passing by, please feel free to take a look at this article at least♪
I have been conducting an experiment like this since around April 30th.
I decided on a posting routine for each day of the week
Until now, my style was basically "write what I want to write, and post what I can post every morning."
It's fun to write or choose based on my mood, but before I knew it, my top page was filled only with essays or articles related to manic depression.
The posting frequency for each genre was unbalanced.
For those who view it, the top page is also a part of my self-introduction.
I thought, if possible, I want to post articles evenly! That was the start of this experiment.
The routine I decided on
Here is the weekly routine I decided on.
・Monday: [Fixed] Manic Depression Newsletter
・Tuesday: Daily Essay
・Wednesday: Articles for "Writing" (personal experiences, etc.)
・Thursday: Essay on Manic Depression (tentative)
・Friday: [Fixed] The Lab I Want to Write About Forever (Paid Magazine)
・Saturday: Free (based on mood)
・Sunday: [Fixed] Membership-only articles (twice a month)
Also, since I am off on Tuesdays and Thursdays,
・Tuesday: Start writing articles for the paid magazine
・Thursday: Start writing the Manic Depression Newsletter and membership-only articles
・Other days: Write other articles in my spare time
I made this my writing routine.
Impressions after actually trying it
・Monday's Manic Depression Newsletter [Fixed]→ This was already a habit to write, so it went smoothly.
・Tuesday's Essay→ It's easy to write because it can be anything. There are also prompts from the membership "Writing Club".
・Wednesday's "Writing" article→ It takes a little time to come up with ideas, but I still like it and it's fun.
・Thursday's Manic Depression Essay→ This hasn't started yet, so it's currently free.
・Friday's Paid Magazine [Fixed]→ Since what to write is decided, I just keep writing.
・Saturday's Free Article→ It's definitely fun to have a day where I can post based on my mood. I'll keep it.
・Sunday's Membership-only Article [Fixed]→ I don't know yet if it's easy to write, but it might be easy to create a flow of "post on Sunday -> put into practice from Monday."
Parts that didn't go well
By assigning a genre to each day of the week, there were days when I felt like writing about something else on the day I was supposed to write.
Also, I feel like fixing it too strictly to specific days of the week might end up feeling like pressure.
However, since the goal isn't to "follow everything perfectly," I plan to shift or change things flexibly. As long as my top page isn't filled with similar topics, it's fine.
That said, I want to stick to the [fixed] routine as much as possible! I'll observe it for a while longer.
So, this experiment was about "deciding on a posting routine."
What I realized again after trying it is that the moment you think "I want to change," the change has already begun.
The goal isn't to do it perfectly. I don't know if things will go exactly as planned, but it's fine as long as I can find my own rhythm little by little.
I plan to continue conducting various experiments myself, in line with the concept of "Nichihen Lab."
If you'd like, please try taking on some projects or experiments in May as well!
Thank you for reading this far!
