Report on "Maiton's Friend Park (Tentative)"!
▼I applied to be a monitor for this service by Maiton! (Applications are currently closed)
"I want to create a space where we can talk online, and you can throw your questions and requests regarding your note account or me at me."
So, I talked with Maiton for an hour♡
Things I did (on my own) in advance
I did some brainstorming on my own beforehand and wrote the following things down in my notebook.
・Account concept and what I write about
・Progress of my paid magazine (series)
・I feel like I want to do a membership program in a year or so
・The vague feelings that came up in the "Check sheet for enjoying yourself" ← I can't imagine how I want to be in a year...
I answered the pre-session questionnaire and waited for the day with excitement. It started at 12:00, so I was nervous until the time came...
The time finally arrived.
I finally saw Maiton!
Of course, they were wearing glasses!
We talked about things like this
Since I had pretty much decided what I wanted to consult about, I started by brainstorming with them. I talked about what I had written in my notebook beforehand.
After that, Maiton shared their impressions of me.
・You can view yourself objectively
・You analyze yourself
・Because of those things, you are calm (even though you have bipolar disorder)
……and so on
They told me what aspects of me are suited for community management.
On the other hand, regarding the "membership program centered on bipolar disorder" that I had envisioned, they gave me their opinion from an angle I hadn't considered.
Regarding community management, I had originally been concerned about "trouble between members" and "fluctuations in my own physical condition," but I was grateful to receive a different perspective.
Regarding the membership program, they clearly told me not only the positive opinions but also the points that might be difficult. On top of that, they also suggested ways to explore other themes.
Regarding other themes, concrete ideas came to mind immediately, so I thought, they are really good at drawing out possibilities!
I was also able to hear about Maiton's journey so far. What kind of environment they were in when they started note, what it was like when they released paid articles, what it was like when they started their membership program, and so on...
We talked about my strengths, areas for improvement, cases where those strengths might backfire (based on observing various people), and ways to avoid that. It was incredibly reassuring.
I also got to hear about what running a membership program is like.
As for my confusion (not being able to imagine where I want to be in a year or so), it cleared up quite a bit during our one-hour talk!
Finding a way to run a membership program with a "different focus" is my vague ideal for now.
Until now, I had been thinking too much that I "had to narrow down my theme." That's why I had never written essays until I hit a depressive phase. I had always been talking about "writing"-related topics. Even now that I'm past that phase, I'm still putting all my energy into "manic-depression."
However, after being told that I can write about more diverse things and that people don't care about concepts as much as I think, my dreams expanded as I realized, "Now that you mention it, there are other genres I want to write about!"
Also, I tend to think I need to have goals, but I got to hear that you never know what will actually happen, that it's usually like this, and how it was for them, so I decided to keep writing with a more relaxed mindset!
How I changed after talking with Mighton
1. I decided to try writing articles in more diverse genres.
2. I realized there were other focuses for the membership program I want to create.
3. I decided to think about "how to realize the launch and operation of the membership program" while doing 1.
4. I made being able to envision this my goal for one year from now.
5. I felt that I don't need to have too many goals.
There was a huge change!
I'm looking forward to my future note life.
I received a feedback report.
This is also amazing!!!!!!
I want to print it out and keep it in my pocket at all times...
I might look like it, but I'm actually quite hesitant about membership programs (is that true?), but Mighton gave me such strong words of encouragement that I felt brightened!
I was also encouraged to receive positive feedback again regarding the paid magazine I currently run with the theme of "wanting to write for a lifetime while dealing with the waves of my physical condition."
There is a section called "A word I'd like to share with you," and it was so reassuring... I will keep these words as a charm and continue to enjoy note. I'll write them in my planner...
This is what the "Mighton's Friend Park (Tentative)" monitor experience was like!
Anyway, they are so good at finding a person's strengths and merits... And they are so good at conveying challenges and concerns on top of that...
Actually, I was super nervous while talking. Like, "Did I say something stupid?" But Mighton was a very kind person, just as they appear in their articles!
I saw a path I wouldn't have reached just by thinking on my own, and I'm even more excited about my future activities.
Once this service officially launches, I would definitely like to recommend it to those around me.
Personally, I would like to recommend it to those who want to start a new challenge on note, or those who have just started!
As an aside, regarding the matter I was thinking about while talking with Mighton-san, like 'I'd love a membership with this kind of focus,' after the talk ended and I was walking outside thinking about various things, a different idea came to mind. Maybe I'm just fickle (sweat), but I don't think my imagination would have expanded this much if I had just been thinking by myself. The effect of our talk is amazing!
That concludes the report♡
It was so much fun~!!
Thank you very much!!
Thank you for reading this far!
